On Aria Engine site:
http://ariaengine.com
, I read the following concerning the Aria Engine.

« It is fully compatible with the 32 bits and 64 bits architectures on OS X…. It can be used as a standalone application or as a VST, Audio Unit, RTAS or AAX Plugin ».

By this statement I understand that Aria Engine can be used as an AAX Plugin (whatever the sound banks).

At the same time I read the following on
http://garritan.custhelp.com/app/answer ... /a_id/5449
(updated on 09/08/2015 03:12 PM):

« With the release of version 11, Pro Tools will no longer support RTAS plug-ins, and has moved to AAX plug-ins. However, the Garritan Abbey Road Studios CFX Concert Grand is currently available as a VST, Audio Unit, RTAS and AAX plug-in. Other Garritan libraries use the ARIA Player which is currently only available as a VST, Audio Unit or RTAS plug-in. »

By this answer to the question « Will the Garrison Libraries be avalaible in AAX Format compatible with Pro Tools 11& 12? » I understand that Aria Engine works as an AAX plugin only for Garritan Abbey Road Studios CFX Concert Grand but NOT for all the other sound libraries like for example Garritan Personal Orchestra 4.

If this is the current situation then the sentence « It can be used as a standalone application or as a VST, Audio Unit, RTAS or AAX Plugin » is an overstatement ! The sentence must be made more explicit not to confuse the reader…

My question is very simple: By when will Plogue Art et Technologie Inc, collaboration with Garritan Corp (part of MakeMusic Inc) come up with and Aria Engine fully AAX plugin available whatever the sound library ?
