Hi guys,

As you may know from a number of other threads on these forums I have been trying to put together my first build on a tier 5ish build format hopefully with a budget of around $1000. At this stage nothing is bought and in some categories have listed options/choices, but I am looking for a general will this all work together and does anyone have anyone have any alternative suggestions I missed. Also I am about $300 over-budget, so any ideas on easy ways to spend less without giving up the quality please let me know!

Here is what I have so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k

MoBo: ASUS Z87-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Graphics: MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

PSU: Rosewill CAPSTONE-750-M 750W Continuous @ 50°C, Intel Haswell Ready, 80 PLUS GOLD, ATX12V v2.31 & EPS12V v2.92, SLI/CrossFire ...

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Series 120GB

HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Optical: LG 24X DVD Burner - Bare Drive Black SATA Model GH24NS95 - OEM

Case: COOLER MASTER Storm Enforcer SGC-1000-KWN1 Black SECC / ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ATX PS2 / EPS 12V (optional ...

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM

Total spend throwing in an extra case fan and some cables (All sourced on Newegg and not combo deals): $1,277.90

(Note: this does not currently include a CPU cooler and I am planning on doing a simple Asus auto-mobo overclock, nothing extreme. Do you think this is ok, or do I need the CPU cooler?)

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks in advance
