Hi, long time lurker here.. I recently got a bote rackham paddleboard and have had a lot of fun with it. Iv'e fished Stuart, Ft Pierce, Matlacha, Miami, Flamingo, and this past weekend, Choko with it. It was my very first time fishing Choko at all, and although likely fishy spots were all around, it was a very slow day. I guess it was still too cold for a lot of the species there, but I thought there was enough time to warm the area up.. Maybe someone here can enlighten me.. I fished the whole incoming and part of the outgoing in the maze of creeks and bars to the WSW of Choko. Saw some reds throughout the day.. Got a decent one close to the end of the day. Saw him move off a oyster bar and under some groves.. Pitched a gulp and he ate.. I will definitely be back for more, it is an amazing area. Maybe more into the spring though. Any advice would be appreciated..
