I have the X1 bundle and I recently bought a Apple Time Capsule so that I could backup my Mac daily. The Time Capsule is connected to the Xfinity modem via ethernet to ethernet. But the thing is I'm using my Time Capsule as a WiFi base so it not only backs up my data but I also use it like a router to connect ALL my devices i.e PS4, Xbox One, iPad, iPhone, Mac, etc.
For the record I'm not in a data cap trial area but I have not got a clear answer on this either:
1) Does using the X1 TV iOS app (NOT Xfinity TV Go app) (watching DVR recordings, live TV and On Demand content) on my iPhone, iPad or watching the said content on my Mac count against my data usage?
2) Does using the X1 TV iOS app (NOT Xfinity TV Go app) on my iPhone, iPad or watching the said content on my Mac via my Apple Time Capsule count against my data usage?
3) Does using the Apple Time Capsule as a router itself count against my data usage?
