For the last few weeks we've been having issues with our internet service constantly going down for a few minutes at a time. Checking the modem logs it seems to be due to the modem rebooting due to T4-Timeout.
Near as I can tell, signal levels on the modem are fine. I've removed all splitters between the modem and main line anyway. I setup a little program to log the signal levels from the modem status page every minute. This is what they look like.
Downstream Power is always between -2 and +4 dBmV
Downstream Signal-Noise is always between 37 dB and 39 dB
Upstream Power is always between 38 dBmV and 44 dBmV
I have an owned SB120. According to the help page this is the current firmware information:
Model Name: SB6120
Vendor Name: Motorola
Firmware Name: SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.14-SCM03-NOSH
Boot Version: PSPU-Boot 1.0.0.4m1
Hardware Version: 3.0
Firmware Build Time: Jan 22 2015 14:31:03
A resolution to this problem would be appricated. The constant disconnects make it near impossible to do anything that requires a solid connection such as play games or stream video/music.
