Before I start, I habe to say, this post is long and if you don't read it completely, don't post replies!

Hello tankers

Firstly, I think that the game is cool and everything but I think that when it comes to game modes, it could be doing much better in terms of difference. Sure, we have clan wars, tank companies, but when you look at the game mods, you only have 3: random, encounter and assault. But however you look at it, the result of all of them is the same:

1. one team is wipped out

2. base is captured

3. time runes out or both bases captured. And I think nobody likes draws, the ones who were the "losers" and those hwo could have won.

4. in assault, the time rones out and the defenders win.

Now, I think that since this is a kind of shooter(with tanks of course) and we have this fun little midgets on the battlefield called scouts whos purpose everybody knows(i hope), so I wont go into those details :P

Since this is also a game set in wartime, I suggest a new mode: Intel capture.

I think everybody is familiar with it in different FPS shooters. Teams must infiltrate enemy base, take a specific objects with them, and get it back to their own base. This would bring a new meaning to fast, stealthy scouts and of course this game mode would need a really well coordinated team, which is why i would only implement it into Clan Wars or Tank Companies(at least as a start)

So this is how it would look like...

Both teams would start at their designated base-with a flag, yet a smaller circle around it, spawning a type of "pick up" object, which only a couple of tanks of the opossing teams can pick up at the same time. When the battle starts, there would also be a timer, lets say 15 min. The goal of the mode is, that a couple of tanks that are predetermined before battle(not SPG's or TD's) have to infiltrate the enemy base, pick up the objects(only one of the pick ups spawns at the same time. So that means that you have to bring that object to your base first, if you want another to spawn. Whoever has the most objects when the time expires, wins.

Ok, this most bring up some crazy and I think angry questions.

"What if I am driving a Maus or a similar slow tank and I am one of those who have to pick up that."

Well since lets say 3 tanks at the start are set to that role only. But if one of those dies, the role goes to another, and if all of those die, then and ONLY then the TD or SPG gets it.

So, lets say you start a battle...Mines, Intel capture.

On your team, a type 59, T-50-2 and a E-75 are designated as the pick up tanks.

Since the E-75 has no chance to get the object, it is up to the other two to get it. Lets say a couple of minutes pass and the type gets the intel. He hurries back to the base, but is instead killed by the enemy. The object then spawns beside his wreck. Now, a new tank has been designated as the pick up. So, since the type is dead, the other 3 tanks, the E-75 and T-50-2, along with the new tank can pick up the object. So the T-50-2 hurries, picks it up and brigns it to their home base. They get one point and a new object spawns back at the enemy base. But if the enemy picks up the object that was stolen from their base, they can bring it back home via their own 3 pick up tanks.

Now I know this would bring up a biig problem for campers. But lets say it like this: If nobody gets any points, it is a draw. If all the tanks on one team are destroyed, it is not over. The "winning team" must still bring at least one object to their base (unless they already did that) to win, or else it is also a draw. This would mean that the team will have to be carefull of their actions, so they must not celebrate to quickly.

This mode would bring a completely new meaning to the tanks and their roles. Fast tanks would be the ones infiltrating the bases, supported by SPG's and fast mediums or snipers. Heavies would be the guards who would block some lets say strategic flanking routs. TD's would be the guards who would guard the base, and with it, their own intel.

Like I said before, this would only be implemented nto Clan Wars and Tank companies, since players there are more organised( i hope :D).

Now this is just a quick rough cut of my idea, it would need a lot of polishing and stuff like that to make it work. But I think it would be a nice change to the whole "get in battle, kill all" routine.

I hope those of you that hade fun reading it, liked it, and those, who think im crazy and just plain idiotic by this idea, you didn't get a too big of a head ache by this post

PS: I would appreciate if you didn't write any troll or off topic replies. If you like it, good i would be happy by any advices, and those of you who didn't like it, I would also like your replies WHY this would be bad. Mind you, this is still a rough cut of my idea.
