TERMS OF SERVICE
Scallywags are an online gaming community World of Tanks clan. A clan is a group of people that share a strong common interest. In this instance it is the interest of playing World of Tanks. We will strive to assist other members in achieving the skills necessary to become capable of taking and holding land on the global map for the World of Tanks. All clan members are expected to work together as a team to achieve our goals.
For members who are in need of basic proficiency training we will provide the basic training necessary so that these members can improve their game play.
We seek to recruit members from the gamming community that show maturity and strong interpersonal relationship skills in order to create an atmosphere of comradery and trust. All clan members are expected to work together as a team to achieve our goals.
All clan members are required to use Teamspeak in order to be able to communicate with other members. Every player is also required to assist other players who need assistance in grinding out the necessary tanks needed for team play.
Scallywags will focus on tier six clan battles, members are expected to "grind" the tech tree for each nation with the goal of earning the necessary credits and experience points to achieve the following tanks that are currently used for clan wars : VK 36.01 H, T-150, KV-85, KV-2, Cromwell, Cromwell B, T-64, T-37, Hellcat, Jackson, Skoda T25 and the OI.
As Scallywag members are to have an adult maturity level they are to refrain from typing negative comments for any reason in any chat box while in battle and members are absolutely forbidden to team kill any player. Team killing is an offense that is punishable by expulsion from the clan if a formal complaint is made by any member of the World of Tanks community. Negative comments made toward any player are to be ignored. Members are expected to promote a professional demeanor as not to discredit the clan name. These offenses are punishable by a probationary tag being placed next to the violators name in our teamspeak for thirty days to expulsion for repeated offenses.
Members are expected to treat each other with the dignity and respect they deserve, regardless of any other members Race, Sex, Sexual Preference, Religious or Political views. These topics should be avoided in teamspeak and foul language is discouraged.
Members of Scallywags will achieve rank based upon their length of service. New members will receive this rank in the following manner: 0-1 month = Private --- 1-3 months = Private First Class, -- 3-6 months = Sergeant, -- 6 months and longer = Master Sergeant.
The rank structure of Scallywags shall be Private, Private First Class, Sergeant, Master Sergeant, Warrant Officer (Diplomat/Intelligence Officer/Recruter), 2nd Lieutenant (Quartermaster), 1st Lieutenant (Junior Officer), Captain (Combat/Field Officer), Major (Trainer), Brigadier General (X/O). Lieutenant General (Warfare Officer), and General (Commander).
The ranks of Junior Officer and above shall be applied for and the member’s admittance into these groups will be based upon the member’s participation, attitude and battle performance while engaging in clan activities.
The rank of Warrant Officer shall include the responsibilities of recruitment of members meeting the standards of the clan. The recruitment officer shall not send out blind invites to the clan, but instead should invite prospective members into our teamspeak channel and have them play with other members to observe their gameplay and willingness to work as a team in an effective manner.
The rank of Quartermaster shall be responsible for the allocation of the clan’s treasury. He/she shall also move the boxes earned in stronghold battles to the various structures in the clans stronghold.
The rank of Junior Officer shall include the duties of learning the maps strategies and proficiency in calling required to become a Combat Officer. The Junior Officer is required to participate in stronghold battles as a caller in order to increase his/her abilities to perform their duties.
The rank of Combat/Field Officer shall include the duties of creating map strategies and testing them put in training rooms and stronghold battles. Duties shall also include the selection of the tanks and members to be used in clan wars and stronghold battles. When available he/she will call the clan war battles on the global map using strategies that have been proven to work. This officer will also assure that the flag is planted and the proper structures are erected or moved upon provinces owned by the clan on the global map.
The Trainers duties are to instruct members of the clan in the operation and game mechanics associated with game play in order to improve the members tanking skills. He/she will also seek out new training methods to improve the clan. Members should attend any training session administered by the Trainer s that we can improve the efficiency of the clan.
The duties of the X/O shall be to assure that members are participating in clan activities and to supervise all members with a lower rank. He/she shall also assist the Combat/Field Officer(s) in the creation of map strategies and plan training activities for the membership. The X/O shall also recruit and act as a diplomat striving to create alliances with other clans.
The duties of the Warfare Officers shall include recruitment and diplomacy. He/she shall also assist the X/O and Combat/Field Officers in selecting which provinces on the global map to attack or defend while working with allies of Scallywags. Other duties for this position require him/her to assist the Commander in the day to day management of the clan’s personnel, treasury, calendar, and other administrative duties.
The duties of the Commander include maintaining the clan’s data and settings for the clan’s webpage and teamspeak server, overseeing the membership and recruitment, and managing the clan’s treasury. The Commander shall also act as mediator between members and members of other clans in the event there is a complaint made or to be made against any member of Scallywags. The Commander shall when necessary and warranted dole out an appropriate punishment to a member, after an investigation into the facts had determined that a violation has occurred. The Commander shall also treat all members fairly and equally as possible and be available to talk to any member when requested about any issue the member has regarding the clan or its members.
