Had a problem with recruiting a female crew member and WG basically said TO F.........g BAD!

Just finished another of the missions but when I recruited the crew member I got a male crew member for the position I specified and a female crew for a position I already had. I was recruiting a driver and got a male driver an another female gunner which I already have. I don't need another male driver nor do I need another female gunner.

Thank you for your reply and attached files.
While reviewing your screenshots we noticed that you are using mods.
Many modifications pull extra data when the game is connected. As a result, it is entirely potentially possible that they are the cause, and in any case, they are not supported by Wargaming. That means that any product with modifications installed is not one for which we can dictate appropriate technical solutions, as third-party modifications by their very nature change the game beyond it's developer specifications. To fully investigate an issue, we need a "clean slate", and in many cases (as you yourself note), removing a third-party program will occasionally fix the issue altogether.
While mods are allowed (even the ones that seemingly do not provide much of an advantage, or change), we do not officially support them as they are third party programs.
You are welcome to use mods, however,it is possible that they may be the cause of extended load times, game crashes, and other unwanted errors with your game client.
(Such as causing mission requirements to display incorrectly or not show as complete given how some data is pulled, and how the mission system is set up.)
It is possible that while you may have fulfilled the mission conditions, it will not show as complete due to the mods installed in the client.
This can present a visual error with your female crew training. If mods are removed, the crew may show as what you desired to train them as.
Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for issues caused to the client should you decide to use third party modifications. We would like you to remove your mods and see if you have completed the mission.
After removing the mods, please perform the following:
1. Delete your existing python.log file from your game directory (C:\Games\World_Of_Tanks).
2. Continue to play as normal until you experience the issue again.
3. Close the game and then send us the python.log from the game directory.
We hope this provides an explanation for our reasoning, and please note that we fully intend to continue to assist you in any way possible even if the problem persists after the modifications are removed.
If you insist on continuing to utilize third party modifications of our game client, we cannot support them, nor can we guarantee mission completion.

The mission completed just fine. The issue came up during the "reward" portion. I recruited a female
driver but got a male driver. Mods shouldn't have anything to do with the crew recruiting. The female crews are reward for mission complete.

I removed all mods like you asked and it made no difference. I still have 2 male drivers for the AMX 13F3, and 2 female gunners. Why would I recruit an additional driver or gunner of the same sex as I already have? I selected a female driver for my fourth female crew member and got a male driver and a female gunner which I already had. If you won't fix it just say we won't fix it and not give me your cut and paste "it's your fault" answer. How hard would it be to just say oh sorry about that we will get you a female driver. Will that bankrupt WG? Who really gives a rats a.. who's fault it is all I want is the crew member that I tried to get. Even if I hit the wrong radial button is it really that big a deal? You guys give free stuff to all the big clan members but forget the little guys that are your bread and butter. There wouldn't be a WG if all you had were a few big clans. Now can I get a female driver or not?

This is just what I figured. WG doesnt take any responsibility for any problems with their product. It wasn't that I made a mistake it was your game. This is just another nail in the coffin that is driving me and countless others away from anything WG. Keep up the good work and you will all be out of a job.

OK so you can't, won't, give me a female crew member. It's going to cost me 500 gold to fix your game screw up. So just give me the 500 gold and we are good. Gold transactions are "real" money transactions so you can reimburse me for the gold I have to spend to fix this.

No my ticket was not answered, just shoved aside by worthless game support. It wouldn't hurt WG to give me the 500 gold to fix this. Instead you'd rather have another pissed off player. Good work WG. I'll make sure I post the entire conversation to as many sites as I can.
