Performance:

90% Solo

10% Two man platoon with green/light blue player

Pros

- Very mobile

- A laser like gun

- Does not catch fire (0 games so far)

- Fairly good camo

Cons:

- No armor. At all

- The ammo rack. Good lord. The ammo rack

- DPM is quite low compared to a few of the other T9 mediums.

- Lack of depression. This combined with no armor is quite awkward.

Tank Characteristics:

The armor: Overall, it is a rolling paper ammo rack on wheels. The amount it gets ammo racked is insane. I have had multiple games where I have to play on a 18 sec reload simply because I repaired it only to get racked again. Try not to get hit. Simple as that.

However, the turret is quite a interesting story. while going hull down is quite difficult with the 62A like depression, the turret can be quite troll. Especially since it is small and for some odd reasons draws more bounces than it should. Most likely off the side at an extreme angle. However, take this with a grain of salt. In fact, take with with a damn bag of salt. When I say a 52mm turret can be quite troll that just shows how horrible the armor on the thing is. Lucky, and I do mean lucky bounces off the turret do happen. (Unlike the hull. Nothing happens off the hull) When it's hull down it's no T-54 where you can reliably bounce most T8 tanks and even T9s.

That being said, still try to be hull down. It is quite hard to hit and at least you won't get ammo racked.

Mobility: The tank is quite fast. Very fast in fact. However, it accelerates quite slower than you would think. The T-54 can pretty much keep up with it on bad terrain. However, in a straight line the tank is a rocket and turns on a dime. Try to use that mobility to your advantage. Move around when needed. Flex around the map. Don't sit in the back but use the mobility.

Gun:

This is the selling point of this thing IMO. Pretty much identical to the Leo 1 gun with slightly worse handling and DPM. The laser like accuracy and pen allows it to rip tanks at a distance and wreck everything. However, never fight head to head. The DPM is quite lacking. Poking and getting shots off or hiding behind pushes is what makes this gun work. NOT CAMPING. Big difference

Equipment: As you can see above, I run Optics, rammer, and V-Stab. Nothing to say really. Classic medium load out. Rammer is a given. Optics are also very important on mediums because of vision control even though you can swap them out for vents if you really want. V-stab, again a given. Very much so helps with shooting on the move

How to drive this thing: Carefully. Usually, I suggest getting into early and aggressive spotting positions. Where you can get free shots. Not always, but usually. Try not to get hit. At all. Use the gun to your advantage and that incredible laser like characteristics. Explaining how to play a tank is quite difficult on paper. There will be plenty replays below that will show you how to play. Try to move around. The mobility allows you to do so.

Replays: Here is just a single game.http://wotreplays.com/site/1592041#prokhorovka-troplcthunder-leopard_prototyp_a

That is if you actually want to watch some serious games. Those are all in a row and not pick and choose. I lost the session stats because I had to wipe my computer but it is something around.

4.5k wn8, 3.6k dmg, and 11/14.

Verdict: 6/10. I would love to give it more. Really would. However, the lack of depression and armor makes it a really awkward tank. Difficult to master and play at a high level and well. The saving grace is the mobility and gun. So use it.
