How do I get deinterlacing to work on the Cubox-i4x4 running Kodi and OpenELEC? All of my live TV is 1080i but I can only get 25 fps. How can you advertise CuboxTV (which is Cubox-i just differently packaged) if Cubox cannot deinterlace live TV? Is there a way to install different distribution to get deinterlacing to work? Can I modify the existing build to add deinterlacing options such as Yadif? Live TV and deinterlacing works on my x86 PC but on Cubox there are only two deinterlacing options (iMX6 and iMX6 fast) and both of them slow down the video so that it is unwatchable. However the CPU loading basically does not change so I see no reason why I should not be able to use other deinterlacing options.
Can anyone from SolidRun answer this? Again, how can you sell CuboxTV when it can't do something as simple and essential as deinterlacing? I am hoping you (SolidRun) have already solved this issue and you can point me to a special build of Kodi and OpenELEC that solves this or to a different solution.
