My website, which has been running perfectly well for the last 4/5 months, has suddenly gone wrong. i noticed this evening that it displays a 500 Internal Server Error. I have no idea why this has started doing this, and havnt changed anything at all in terms or Modules or settings etc.
I am really struggling to understand what to do.
I was, talking to my Hosting company Arvixe and below is a excert from the conversation. I dont know what this means and wondered if anyone knew anything about this?

15:26 Andy Lettis: yeah i was on the site in the admin section about 5 hours ago. I havnt adjusted anything in terms of software etc?

He suggested to 'restore' to the servers back up from a previous time, which has not made any difference either....open to any idea or susgestions, just dont see why without changing anything it has gone wrong...
