This server is awesome and used to be so popular and I think there a few suggestions to restore its glory:
1) for pvp since the donor gear is a huge turnoff to new players maybe institute a routine where during certain times it will be non custom pvp ( with arena and BG's) and other times where anything goes. In this current state and population using the arena to get arena points and wrathful gear is almost impossible which is a huge turnoff.
2) Add more websites to the vote list and give out points instantly, we currently have only 3 sites and I am pretty sure one of them is busted because it never registers my vote. We need to get the word out there about this server if anything is every going to change.
3) Overhaul the voteshop, there is currently zero reason to vote on this server because nothing in the shop is worth a damn. You need to add way better items to get people to vote. You need to add wrathful because the pvp is so unbalanced right now that gearing up is impossible and this is a pvp server. Also add a way to get chips by voting, 10 chips for 100 points is a great method and will work very well. All of the most popular servers use this method because EVERYONE needs chips. It is the give a little to receive a lot method. And will give everyone a reason to vote.
4) The population is too small to have three realms right now. You need to focus on one and perfect everything in it. You are spreading an already thin population to a new realm and since most people are invested heavily in this realm no one wants to switch. Perhaps institute a transfer or rewards system where if you have a full donor on this realm you get a serious discount on the other realm.
5) Cross faction pvp is a must, who cares if I am fighting with allies against the horde, this will balance out pvp as well if you make everything random. Just pool together everyone in que and divide them up with no preference.
6) Instant 80 is a MUST, no one wants to level up especially when half of the chain quests don't work like they are supposed to. Just instant 80 with a choice of starting lvl 80 pvp gear (furious) or starting pve gear (whatever tier that is) I think if we could just cut out the middleman that is pointless questing to lvl 80 then we will see a huge growth in active players.
I love this server and I want to see it back the way it used to be. I think these suggestions are fair and are in no particular order of concern although I do think that a major key is balancing pvp and offering greater incentives to vote. Thank you for your time.
