Datsun has finally launched its compact entry level car - The Datsun Redi-GO. Based on the same CMF-A platform as the Renault Kwid, the Datsun Redi-Go shares the same architecture but a completely unique and different design language.'
The car will be powered by a 0.8 litre three-cylinder petrol engine which will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Datsun claims that this car will return best in the class mileage.
The Datsun Redi-GO will carry a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh, and will mainly compete with the Renault Kwid, Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon. The bookings will start from 1 May with deliveries commencing from June.
