Mercedes-Benz dominated the news at last year’s L.A. auto show with its slinky, rolling video-game-fantasy-come-to-life, the AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept. Now, Cigarette Racing is making a splash at the 2014 Miami International boat show with a “vision” of its own: The 50’ Vision GT concept.

The latest collaboration between Cigarette Racing and AMG—following an SLS-inspired 46-footer in 2010, a G63-inspired Huntress, and last year’s Cigarette AMG Electric Drive concept—the 50’ Vision GT concept is powered by twin 9.0-liter (552 cubic-inch) 1650-hp Mercury Racing V-8s, each 300 horses stronger than the standard engines powering the 50’ Cigarette Marauder. The result is CR’s most powerful production twin-engine performance boat ever. Cigarette says that the use of lightweight materials has allowed it to strip 1000 pounds from the boat, resulting in an estimated V-max of more than 140 mph—presumably on really smooth water.

While the styling of the boat isn’t quite as revolutionary as that of the Vision Gran Turismo (the car), the marine version of the Vision GT is no less fetching to behold, coated as it is in Mercedes’ gorgeous silvery Alubeam paint, with a custom matte-black hull and accents. Unlike the car, the boat’s cabin is open—wouldn’t a roof look cool on this thing?—and all-black, with Alcantara accents, a carbon-fiber dash with silver gauges, four high-def displays, and of course, state-of-the-art navigation and audio systems.

Unlike the Vision Gran Turismo, the Cigarette Racing Vision GT Concept is actually for sale, at a cool $1.5M. There’s just one, and we’re absolutely sure there’s some rich daredevil, somewhere, who will snatch it up.
