Unsightly bumper bulges are the thing here, both front and rear, and we\u2019re certain AMG won't take inspiration from this car's carbon-fiber intake slats or chrome 21-inch rims. Giovanna\u2019s aftermarket rims aren\u2019t offensive in their delicate black and yellow spokes, and they actually match the car\u2019s extraterrestrial character. It\u2019s that their relatively pedestrian construction versus the stock wheels is likely to dull the P1\u2019s performance and possibly affect high-speed stability. The most versatile vehicle at the L.A. show is the Airstream Interstate 3500, an immaculate $152,880 Mercedes Sprinter conversion van with ultrasoft leather and an electric stove. Behind door number two, however, is the combo shower and toilet that allows multiple bodily functions to be completed at highway speeds. The extendable sink faucet, floor drain, vinyl curtain and clothesline ensure easy cleanup for whatever needs to drop, dry, or flush. The gas tank is now located up front with absolutely no modern crash standards applied. It has an upright-mounted, chain-link steering wheel; miniature pedals\u2014strangely, it\u2019s right for brake, left for gas\u2014and a mid-mounted Chrysler 392 V-8.
