Candy bath bomb

1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup baking soda
1 cup citric acid

baking pan (muffin/cupcake pan or plastic egg holder)

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients. Add 10 drops of peppermint essential oil into 1/2 cup of olive oil. Stir everything well until the mixture resembles wet sand. With your spoon, distribute the mixture equally among 20 pan cavities and make sure the mass adheres well. Let your bath bombs dry for about 24 hours.
Once your bath bombs are ready, wrap them in a gift paper. But don’t forget to leave some for yourself!

Lemon bath bombs

Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup cornstarch
3 tablespoons sea salt
3/4 teaspoon water
2 teaspoons almond oil
lemon essential oil
yellow food dye
decoration (dried petals, flowers and so on)
plastic round molds

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and sea salt. In a smaller bowl, mix the almond oil, water, food dye and lemon essential oil. Pour the oil mixture into the dry ingredients. Whisk everything until well combined. Try to roll the mixture into a ball. If the mixture is too crumbly, lightly spray it with water. Do not add too much water, otherwise the mixture will fizz and won’t form in the mold properly.
If the mixture is the right consistency, spread it into the mold using a spoon. Let your bath bombs dry for at least two hours, then remove them from the mold. Place the bath bombs on a towel and let them dry overnight.

Rose and milk bath bombs

Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup dry powdered milk
3 teaspoons sea salt
dried rose petals
1 teaspoon water
3-4 teaspoons almond oil
15-20 drops rose oil
plastic or silicone molds

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix the baking soda, citric acid, dry powdered milk, and sea salt. Add finely chopped rose petals. In a small bowl, mix the water, almond oil and essential oil of rose. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Try to squeeze a handful of the mixture in your hand. If the mixture holds its shape, spread it into the mold. If the mixture is too crumbly, use a spray bottle and spray the mixture with water once or twice until it holds its shape. Do not use too much water otherwise the mixture will fizz and won’t form in the mold properly.
Use plastic or silicone molds to form bombs. It is better to fill one half of each mold first, and press the mixture down into the mold so it covers the bottom. Then fill in the remaining half of each mold. The above ingredients are enough for 2-3 medium bath bombs or for eight small ones.

Anti-stress bath bombs

Ingredients:

2 cups baking soda
2 teaspoons dried chamomile flowers or chamomile tea
1 teaspoon dried lavender buds
1/2 cup water (or more if needed)
essential oils (cedar, bergamot, rosemary, lemon, lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus)

Directions:

Use pestle and mortar or a coffee grinder to grind both the dried lavender and chamomile flowers to a powder. Stir in the baking soda. Pour in the water until the desired consistency is achieved; it needs to be a paste. Distribute the mixture among the small molds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 439 degrees F (220 degrees C) for about 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the bath bombs cool completely. Once your bath bombs have cooled, let them dry. Sprinkle essential oils over them and leave them for some time to let the oils absorb. Transfer the bath bombs to a jar and store until you use them.
Alternatively, combine dried lavender and chamomile flowers with baking soda. Add 10-20 drops each of the essential oils. Don’t add any water. Transfer to a sealed jar. Before using, place 1-2 teaspoons of mixture under running hot water.

Green tea bath bombs

Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup citric acid
1/4 cup sea salt
2 tablespoons green tea (powdered)
2 tablespoons almond oil
2 tablespoons water
1/4 tablespoon olive oil (or any other oil of your choice)

Directions:

Combine the citric acid, cornstarch and powdered green tea. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Line your muffin/cupcake tin with thin tissue paper. Distribute the mixture among the cavities. With your finger or spoon, press the mass firmly on the bottom. Add more mixture if needed. Smooth the tops of the bath bombs. Let them dry for a couple of hours until hard. Gently shake or blow off the crumbs.
