On Wednesday 18th November Forever Funny will descend on legendary northern quarter comedy club The Frog and Bucket, to raise money to support local community projects through the power of laughter.
Forever Funny is a bi-annual night of laughs that showcases local talent and raises money for Forever Manchester. With a host of Greater Manchester comedians who are regulars on the national and international comedy circuit, your tickle bone will be worn away.

Our headliner, is Oldham lad, Alex Boardman. Alex is now one of the most sought after acts in the country due to his ability to interact with any audience and to seemingly conjure something out of nothing. His free flowing style and natural charm breeze through in performances. His unique brand of “Flattery and abuse” is done with a lack of malice and a big sense of fun.
And before you ask, he’s no relation to Stan Boardman.

Sophie Willan, from Bolton, exudes confidence and northern charm. Her refreshing comic style has taken her to numerous competition finals including the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh Off and The Magners New Act, where she was crowned Winner.

Salfordian Tom Short is quickly becoming considered a rising star in stand-up comedy. Tom is a ‘cool cat’. He is a performer who wins the audience over almost immediately. Anecdotes about chatting up girls in the “discotheque” and a conversational style. He is also the winner of The Funhouse Comedy Championships, Alt.Com.Cab’s Glang! show winner, a Leicester square New act heat winner and Beat The Frog world series heat winner.

The evening will be compered by Jim Smallman.
Jim has performed his brand of storytelling and improvised messing about across the world for the past decade. He’s won awards for his daftness and is a regular and all the major clubs in the UK.
