The Body Shop recently launch Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream to perform the dual function of correcting your complexion at same time fighting against those ugly blemishes. The cream comes in 3 different shades, namely 01, 02 & 03 – I got home shade 02 which matched closest to my skin tone. Let’s find out how did the product fared on my combination oily acne prone skin.

My Experience with the Product :
Packaging : TBS Tea Tree BB cream is housed in green colored squeeze tube with a flip cap that matches the shade color. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
Shade : The shade 02 which is tagged as a medium shade will go across beauties with fair to medium skin tones but I would say its always better to check the shade with your skin color at the store before you purchase.
My first impression was why didn’t TBS came with more shades & many of you might face a problem on coding the shade perfectly with your skin tone but in my case the shade 02 suits my skin tone to a tee.
Texture & Finish : The texture is creamy and light weight which blends easily and spreads evenly on to my skin. One major reason I never jumped onto the BB cream bandwagon is due the fear that they might break me out but with the presence of tea tree oil in the TBS BB cream I can easily overlook the concern. It provides a semi-matte finish on my oily skin which I compact to a more matte finish with help a setting powder.
Coverage : It provides me sheer to medium coverage and does a decent job on cover my dark circles. Thankfully my skin is currently acne free so I’m not sure on how efficiently it will work on the blemishes or acne marks.
Staying Power : It stays beautifully for 4-5 hours giving me a lovely natural coverage on daily basis.
