A new artisan wines, spirits and gourmet delicatessen opens its doors in Ripley, Surrey today as popular local retailer Cellar Magneval Ripley reveals a transformative rebrand.
With a boutique edge, the new Cellar Wines is an unmissable destination for wine and food lovers, filled with carefully curated and high end wines, champagnes and deli produce.
The revamp comes amid an exciting expansion phase which will see The Old Cellar, High Street store take on a couture edge – shoppers should expect a world class selection of wines sourced from some of the most exceptional vineyards in the world, grower and grand marque champagnes, craft beers and spirits from artisan producers. With its rebrand, Cellar Wines has also announced a series of hot ticket events including tasting evenings by professional wine educators along with fine wine and food pairings.
Andy Walton, Cellar Wines boutique manager said, “The rebrand to Cellar Wines is a landmark for us and an incredibly positive move. We have listened to our customers and, fuelled by their appetite for more wines and specialist events, look forward to delighting, tempting and teasing palettes with an expanded selection of wines of the world along with a wider range of products, services and events. We will put a focus into finding exciting and interesting parcels of wine and an uncompromising range of the finest cheeses and delicatessen items throughout Europe.”
This new atelier-inspired approach will see Cellar Wines cultivate relationships with a larger network of quality suppliers and open up new opportunities for special events. It will bring world class luxury to Ripley later this month with the first of a summer-long season of evening showcases, as it plays to champagne house, Louis Roederer on Thursday 30th June. The tasting evening will take guests
through six champagnes from the Louis Roederer portfolio, accompanied by canapés from the Cellar Wines delicatessen.
On the 4th August, wine lovers will be invited to travel through Spain’s abundance of riches, hosted by professional wine educator, Pippa Hayward. The adventure through the Iberian peninsula’s popular varietals will take in six high quality wines and a welcoming flute of premium vintage cava, all paired with some delectables from our delicatessen.
As part of the rebrand, Cellar Wines will launch a sleek new website later this summer and overhaul its social media presence.
Walton continues, “ This is a great move for us and means we can offer a wider selection of high quality food and deli products and larger portfolio of wines of the world, making us unique in Ripley. Our knowledgeable management team and staff remain the same and will now be able to offer their expertise on more highly sought after products. We’re looking forward to helping our clients discover new favourites.”
The plan for Cellar Wines is to open many more sites to offer the highest quality products and continued exceptional service to our valued customers, to offer the best products and at the right price, making it most enjoyable and really fun experience.
