Ryan and I love celebrating Valentine’s Day but we’ve never been into expensive gifts or overly elaborate date nights. We like to keep things simple but still enjoy doing a little somethin’ somethin’ for the other person to make them feel loved and special on Valentine’s Day. Hopefully today’s blog post will appeal to those of you in a similar boat!

Ryan and I usually do something we’ve dubbed our “Valentine’s Day Mission” where we will split up for an hour or two at a local mall or outdoor shopping plaza and shop for fun and unique budget-friendly gifts for each other, usually under $30 or so. We’ll then meet up to exchange our gifts over dinner or a special homecooked meal and it’s always so much fun! I’m not sure our Valentine’s Day Mission will be possible on a Tuesday night with a toddler’s bedtime looming but I highly recommend it for anyone out there looking for a unique way to celebrate in a fun and inexpensive way. It was always a blast!

For those of you who may wish to spread a little love to your significant other, friends, family or children tomorrow but are currently scratching your head trying to come up with fun ways to show you care, below you will find a quick roundup of some Valentine’s Day gift idea posts I’ve shared on the blog in the past with lots of last-minute ideas that will hopefully help you come up with something that will make someone you love smile tomorrow!

Date Night In Gift Basket

I assembled this gift basket for Ryan for Valentine’s Day last year since we were new parents and had no desire to dress up and leave the comfort of our house. It was the perfect gift for a couple who loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch in a cozy pair of pajamas with good food and good wine. (<— Me and Ryan 100 percent!)
