STUD OF THE WEEK
Second year player Lavonte David has been a tackling machine all year and week 12 was no different. David, who grew up in Miami Florida and went to Northwestern High School, won back-to-back state titles in 2006 and 2007. David was not highly recruited out of high school and signed with Middle Tennessee State but instead ended up going to Fort Scott Community College. David transferred to Nebraska in 2010 only to set the single season tackle record with 152 and was named to the First Team All-Big Ten by both coaches and media in 2011. He was also the winner of the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year award and named best linebacker in the Big Ten. David was drafted in the second round by the Buccaneers in 2012 and started 16 games where he racked up 139 tackles to tie London Fletcher and Paul Posluszny for eighth in the league. He also was named Rookie of the Month in November.

Sheldon Richardson (R) – DE, NYJ: Richardson has been a Baller the last few games.. He’s had 6 Solos, 3 Ass, 1/2 SK, 1 QB Hit to add to his two week total of 11 Solos, 7 Ass. He’ll be a nice Pic Up for the Playoffs.
LINEBACKERS

Whitney Mercilus – LB, HOU: With the Texans Defense on the field more I think second year linebacker Mercilus is playing his best football, he had 6 Solos, 1 SK, 4 QB Hits this week. I like Mercilus for the ROS and Playoffs.
Geno Hayes – LB, JAC: I had Hayes as a Pic Up on my week 10 Waivers and I liked the way he was playing with Posluszny. They are playing outstanding for the Jags so if you didn’t pick him up then, do so now. Hayes posted 6 Solos, 3 Ass, 1 SK, 1 QB Hit.
Vince Williams (R) – LB, PIT:(DYNASTY ROOKIE WATCH) Williams is a player to keep a eye on. He’ll be a big time Fantasy player to have going forward. He had 4 Solos 1 Ass but he’ll be a keeper for next year.
Brandon Spikes – LB, NEP: Spikes has put up 9 Solos, 7 Ass, 1 FR in the last two weeks so if you’re looking for a fill in for the playoffs he’ll be good add.
Sio Moore (R)- LB, OAK: (DYNASTY ROOKIE WATCH) I’ve put up Moore on Waivers before and if you didn’t pick him up for Dynasty Leagues, you certainly should. I really like this kid and he had 6 Solos, 1 Ass in week 12.
Audie Cole – LB, MIN:(2nd year) Cole did a great job filling in for Erin Henderson in week 12 who had a personal issue with 11 Solos 2 Ass 1 SK . Henderson will be back in week 13 but if any of the Vikings Linebackers miss time Cole would be a great Pic Up and DYNASTY WATCH PLAYER.
DEFENSIVE BACKS

Cassius Vaughn – CB, IND: With the Colts constantly playing from behind, the defense is on the field and Vaughn has been taking advantage of it with 11 Solos, 2 Ass, 2 Pass Def the last two weeks.
Mike Jenkins – CB, OAK: Jenkins is starting to play like the 25 pick in the 1st the Cowboys had hoped for in 2008. With his 16 Solos, 2 Ass the last two weeks he is definitely starting to make some noise.
M. D. Jennings – S, GBP: Jennings is having great season as he notched 7 Solos, 1 Ass in week 12 to add to his three week total of 18 Solos, 2 Ass. He’ll be a great add for the playoffs.
Johnthan Banks (R) – CB, TB: (DYNASTY ROOKIE WATCH) The Rookie Banks is doing a great job, I had up last week I believe he is a great add in dynasty leagues. His 14 Solos, 1 INT, 3 Pass DEF in the last three weeks speak for itself.
Shareece Wright – CB, SD: Wright has been playing well and in the last two week he put up 11 Solos, 1 Ass. I like his match up next week with the Bengals.
