That's right, £100 squiddlies (or your local currency if they don't take squiddlies where you live) to spend on whatever your heart desires from makeup heaven, MAC!
My blog turned five recently, and I've realised that with so many blogs giving up and disappearing, five years is a real achievement - one which should be celebrated with cake and lipstick!
This is one great big thank you to everyone who follows my blog in any way, reads my posts, comments, follows me on twitter, instagram, facebook etc - blogging is such a big part of my life now and I truly appreciate all of your support. *group hug*
Ordinary candles are just so last season dahhhling!
I asked my blog what it would like for its fifth birthday (or blogiversary, or whatever I should call it), and it replied "mmm cake om nom... Canon DSLR... nom nom" so naturally I had to oblige on both fronts. It turns out my blog's a greedy little bugger.
The camera has only just arrived, so these photos were taken with my old equipment (I'm sure you can tell!), and the cake has been well and truly scoffed. The cake we celebrated with is from www.bakerdays.com - the cunning little bakers over there have only gone and invented a cake which can be posted and fits neatly through your letter box! Let us never be without cake again! :)
Baker Days cakes are completely customisable - you can choose from some pre-made designs and change the text, or you can totally call the shots and even add your own images. This cute little butterfly design seemed rather fitting for flutter and sparkle, and the lovely Baker Days people sorted out the message that I wanted to go with it.
The cake popped through the door just a couple of days later without a crumb out of place. The cakes are tightly packed in cellophane and a cute little tin and then in a slim postage box to keep everything fresh and neat while it wings its way to you. My cake even came with candles, balloons and one of those noisy blower thingies (what are they called?).
There are different flavour options (and they even do cupcakes!) but I went for the regular vanilla as to me that's birthday cake flavour - it's a really soft, delicious sponge with a butter cream layer between the cake and the icing. A ginormous slice went down rather nicely with a giant mug of PG tips.
If you fancy sending someone an extra special, personalised surprise, or if you just fancy treating yourself (shhhh I won't judge!), you can order your own customised cake here - https://www.bakerdays.com/

Makeup and cake - now that's my kinda afternoon tea!
So onto the international giveaway - the prize is a rather fabulous £100 MAC gift voucher which I will post securely anywhere within the UK - if you would prefer a Selfridges, Debenhams or House of Fraser online gift voucher to spend on MAC, just say the word. And if you're overseas, don't you worry because I'm not leaving you out! I'm happy to send you an online MAC giftcard in Euro or USD etc, providing that's possible for where you live and the MAC website allows me - whatever happens I'll find a way to get the prize to you.
To enter, just use the rafflcopter widget below - there are loads of ways to enter, so everyone's included even if you don't have facebook etc, and of course the more ways you enter, the more chances you have to win!
If you're entering via twitter, rather than sending out a tweet, you just need to follow and retweet one of my tweets about the giveaway, and I'll be sure to follow you back =)
I'm off on holiday soon, so the giveaway won't end until after I get back, otherwise someone would be having an agonising wait for their MAC fix!
What are you waiting for? Get entering and good luck!
