Today is Michelangelo’s birthday. Some of his greatest works will be displayed in Florence, and there will be a celebration on this day.
A procession will start in Piazza Signoria at 10.30 heading toward piazza Santa Croce, where the great artist is buried in the cathedral.
After leaving flowers at his tomb, the procession will carry on to the Renaissance artist’s home in Florence.

Santa Maria Novella Station: 80 Years. New permanent photography exhibition at Santa Maria Novella train station.
