METAMORPHOSIS:

Synopsis - Scarlett MacGregor has lived a very sheltered life courtesy of her over-the-top controlling parents. Having never been to a co-ed party, much less on a date, Scarlett has relied on her books, her music, and living vicariously through her best friend Evie to keep her sanity as she’s patiently awaited her freedom from their rule.

When Scarlett and Evie go away to college, Scarlett quickly meets Ashton, Dylan, and later, Mason, and is thrown into a crash course of like, love, and lust. With Evie’s help, she must figure out the difference in the three and which one she wants before she ends up without any of them.

Metamorphosis is the story of Scarlett’s transformation from a young, naive girl to a strong, mature young woman and her search for self-discovery and true love.

**Recommended for readers 17+ due to sexual content and harsh language.**

Interview with Author Erin Noelle!!! I so loves this girl!!!

Hey Erin thanks for stopping by Flirty and Dirty today! We are so excited.

Thank you so much for having me!!

So I just have to say I don’t think I have come across a book where I have been torn between both book boys. In your series I honestly can’t decide between Mason and Ash. What makes these two, book boyfriend worthy? And why do you think there really isn’t one who is better than the other?

I think that they both have the qualities that so many of like in our book boyfriends. Let’s be honest, we all like to think we can be the one to tame a bad boy or a ladies man, that he will want to stop his man-whoring ways because he’s so in love with us, right? Both Ash and Mason were like this before Scarlett came along, and deep down they are both romantics; they are just wrapped in different paper with different bows.

I love the references to some very popular book boys and the books they came from. What made you decide or how did you come to decide that you would reference various indie books and their book boys?

Well the whole idea for Metamorphosis was based around the idea of finding book boyfriends and the story just kind of evolved from there. I was just in a book club, and all of us liked to try and find pictures of what we thought our book boyfriends looked like, so the story started from there ~ two girls trying to find their book boyfriends in real life. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from readers about how they like to read about some of their favorite characters in the story.

Are any of your characters loosely or not so loosely based on any people you know?

Not really. Scarlett’s character, the whole virgin who has boys falling at her feet, was created a bit tongue-in-cheek. It seemed for a stretch last year that every book I read was about a virgin girl that went away to college. It’s by no means meant to make fun, but almost paying homage to the stories that we love to read. I would definitely say that there are characteristics of myself and other people in my life throughout the characters because it’s easy to write about things you feel comfortable with, but none of them are based off any one in particular.

What is it about fictional characters and stories that bring out some very passionate opinions in readers?

Ya know, I’m not sure exactly, but I’m guilty of it too. I get so wrapped up in the characters’ lives that I am reading about, that I can feel both their pain and their joy. I know for a fact that I have grey hair over books. Lol. I’m not sure if it’s the escape from our own lives or what, but there’s definitely an emotional connection, especially in a well written book.

Ambrosia is your second book. What do you find most difficult about writing? What do you love about writing?

Finding the time to write is the hardest thing for me. Because I work outside the house full time and have two small kids, my only time to write is late at night. It makes it hard to get in a flow or rhythm at times. What I love about writing is how the story consumes me. I think about my characters all day long. I see interactions between people in real life or hear song lyrics that inspire me to write a scene, and from that one scene, the book can take a completely different turn.

How do you want to evolve or grow as a writer? And do you see yourself writing in any other genres?

I would love to write in other genres once I finish this series, especially something funny or perhaps even a murder mystery. I think once you learn how to tell a story, actually getting the ideas into words on paper, your options are limitless. I can see a huge difference in my writing from Meta to Ambrosia, and I hope that I will see that same jump in Euphoria. The key to storytelling is making the reader feel like they are experiencing the events first hand, and there is always room for improvement in this and in anything that you do.

And we ask everyone who stops by…

What is one flirty thing about you and one dirty thing about you?

Flirty ~ I almost always have on matching bra & panty sets.

Dirty ~ I’m a ménage book whore ~ absolutely love them!!!

Thank you so much for answering our questions Erin. We can’t wait to read more from you. Xx

AMBROSIA

Synopsis - After coming to terms with the tragedy that rocked her world, Scarlett MacGregor has returned to try to pick up the pieces of the broken relationships that she left behind.

Ash and Mason were left devastated and heartbroken following Scarlett’s sudden, unannounced departure. They are both ready and willing to forgive her and welcome her back into their lives with open arms. However, a lot can happen in 8 months…

Scarlett must learn to overcome the obstacles thrown in her path to prevent the past from repeating itself. Can she learn to fly with her own wings and discover the secret to eternal love?

Review:

The second book in this series just upped the stakes in Scarlett’s life. Book one, Metamorphosis, saw Scarlett coming into her own and growing up all while trying to figure out her feelings for the hot book boys– rocker Mason and free spirit Ash.

Ambrosia picks up where Metamorphosis left off. I didn’t think Mason and Ash could get any hotter but oh my heck they did and Erin Noelle turned up the heat in this installment of the Book Boyfriend Series.

Ambrosia is the Fruit Of The Gods and it definitely rings true in this book. This time it’s not just the panty dropping physicality of these boys but their heart and sincerity towards Scarlett.

And let me just say that Erin Noelle might be an expert in torture techniques. (Maybe she’s a secret agent for the CIA or something.) Why you ask? Cuz she had to go and up the ante by bringing in another equally gorgeous book boy to add chaos to our already toiled minds and hearts. Max will gently take your heart and leave you trying to figure out which of the boys to root for. Can’t we all just cuddle together?

Ambrosia is a fabulous sequel to her debut in Metamorphosis. You definitely see the growth in her writing and in my opinion I felt that Ambrosia really brought out the feelings and angst the characters had. It was much more solid this time around. There were numerous times I felt the pulls on my heartstrings and myself holding my breath waiting for the next thing. I also laughed my butt off with some of the banter between characters and the typical ‘young guy puffing out his chest and spreading his peacock feathers to impress the girl’ act.

I also think that Erin Noelle did a really good job of portraying a young 20yr old girl- who isn’t ready to be a woman but is forced into the role before being able to experience things young and carefree. There may be things that readers disagree with how it was handled but I honestly felt that given the ages of the characters it was portrayed extremely well. And let’s remind everyone that this is a work of fiction with fictional characters not the 10 o’clock news or a documentary on Dateline.

The Book Boyfriend Series is fun, hot, has some angst that won’t leave you with a book hangover and is an easy quick read. Should it be on your TBR? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Oh and I dare ya to tell me you’ve finally figured out which book boy team you are on. Cuz now I’m team Totally MASHed to the MAX!!!

Meet Mason – the tatted up rock star, nicknamed Rat, once a manwhore but is totally smitten with Scarlett and OMG does he have the most lickliscious V. (Matt Pokora)

Meet Max – the he’s so sweet best friend who develops feelings for her, so cute, always there for you, I’ll love you no matter what sexy but doesn’t know it hottie!!! (Andrew Stetson)

Meet Bentley- the I know I’m gorgeous but I’m such a bitch that I will do whatever it takes to ruin you cuz I want what you have, C***saurus Rex. (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley)

Character Interview (*big grins*)

Hey crew. So I’m uber excited but also a bit nervous. I’m not quite sure how this will all go down. The boys from the Book Boyfriend Series, Mason and Ash are here to answer some questions. They have promised to be on their best behavior (although I’m hoping they get a little flirty and even more dirty).

Hey guys! *blushes* (these boys are so gorgeous)

M ~ Hey there beautiful * winks*

A ~ It’s a pleasure to meet you sweetheart.

So I think I’ll just sit right in between the two of you to keep you from get unruly. (as if. I just want be part of a Mason and Ash Sandwich and it is one delicious sandwich)

K. I don’t hold back so Ash WTF? Why did you do it? Why would want to play that game and hurt Scarlett like that. That was a douche move. (Erin referring to him sleeping with the random chick in Meta)

A ~ You know, I really don’t have a good reason. I fucked up. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted from the days prior. After Evie died, Scarlett just shut down and I was doing everything I could to try and keep her from falling apart. Then there was Jess, who had lost her cousin. I mean I was really close to Jess and her parents when I was growing up, so seeing them all in pain, killed me too. Then that day after the funeral, when Scarlett refused to let me go home with her or wouldn’t go home with me, I just felt helpless… like she had already checked out. When that girl showed up at the house, I just didn’t care anymore. I was tired of feeling like shit, and I knew that she could make me feel better… even if was only for a short time. I had no idea the price that I would pay for such a selfish, horrible decision.

Mase- no snickering over here. You’ve had a few douche moments yourself.

M ~ Not like that I haven’t.

Now that that’s out of the way. (I seriously think I’m about to die and go to book boy heaven sitting between these two)

This question is for both of you—what is it about Scarlett that makes you lose all sense of reason?

M ~ For me it was her innocence, and I’m not just speaking sexually, even though that was a turn on too… knowing it was like unchartered territory made her even more tempting. But the way she looks at life, unassuming and without expectation, and the fact she has such a pure heart.

A ~ From the moment I saw her and knew she was the girl I had been sketching for years without having ever have seen her, I knew it was something special… SHE was something special. I agree with everything that he said as well.

I think my heart just melted even more and I think I need a cold drink.

Ash- why are you so drawn to the story of Eros and Psyche? *stares into those beautiful eyes*

A ~ I will never forget learning the story of Eros & Psyche. It was Valentine’s Day my freshman year and my Philosophy 101 professor spent the class focusing on different philosophers views on love, lust, soul mates, etc… He told a brief version of the story when he discussed Aristotle’s stance on soul mates. Even though at that time, I had given very little thought to any of that, for some reason, the story just really got to me and I was intrigued by its happy ending, which was rare for Greek myths.

Um… right uh… Mason- before Scarlett, where did you draw your inspiration from for your music? (holy crapballs ladies. You should see the abs on this one and the V- if his shirt raises any more…)

M ~ *scoots closer to you & leans forward* Well my childhood wasn’t all prep schools & BMWs like pretty boy here, so I found music as a way to release my frustration with my parents and as a way to express myself without ending up in juvi like a lot of my friends.

This question is for both of you—Both of you are very talented musicians and more specifically singers *swoon* what is it about music or singing that it becomes part of who you are? Did you always want to be musicians or did you try your hand at other things?

M ~ It’s been music for me since I was in middle school I guess. I played sports until then but never really loved anything until I found the music.

I’m so glad he found music- maybe I can get him to sing for me. *sigh*

A ~ My parents put me in guitar lessons when I was around ten, I think. I prefer playing guitar to singing actually. However, I’ve always been into board sports ~ skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding when we go on vacation. I love the adrenaline rush and thrill of it.

I like sports where I get wet too. Damn it! Sorry *clears throat and hangs head*

Another one for both of you—how does it feel to be talked about and lusted over in regards to your book boyfriend status and popularity? *snuggles in just a little closer to the boys*

M ~ *laughs and puts his hand on your leg* It’s nothing new for me. Ever since we started playing in bars & clubs, girls have acted like we are Aerosmith on tour or something. It’s kind of funny; I guess it’s just something about the rock band image they can’t resist. I don’t mind it at all.

A ~ *rolls his eyes @ Mason’s answer & hand placement* Being lusted over used to be something I craved, but as I’ve grown up *looks at Mason* I realize I don’t need nor necessarily want that any more. Most people are attention whores to fill a void in a different place of their life. Even though it’s very flattering, there’s only one person that I care about wanting me.

Mason—why didn’t you just ask her to go with you to Austin? What is it with you and communicating or rather not communicating what it is you want? (F*** ladies this boy is divine!!!) I think a whole lot of shit could have been avoided. I have to say in all your yumminess, I’m kind of pissed about this. (shit my inside voice just went public)

M ~ Yeah, if only I would’ve known, right? I wish now that I would’ve, but I really thought I was doing the right thing by having her stay and get her life back together. She had just gotten settled back in, and other than me, she only had Mina & Max. I felt if I took her away from them and school, then I wasn’t doing the right thing for her.

Have either of you truly thought about how Scarlett fits into this very complicated puzzle?

A ~ Scarlett gets a bad rap for the decisions she’s made. It’s easy for people to say what they would’ve done or how she should’ve acted, but most people didn’t grow up the way she did. She’s very immature and inexperienced in dealing with her feelings and she reacts without thinking things through, but that’s a direct result of her upbringing and the fact her one & only friend died unexpectedly at the age of 19. She’s still figuring things out, and I for one, am going to be patient with her and understanding while she does.

M ~ It’s a rare thing, but I’ve gotta agree with him. She’s not a malicious or selfish person, even though her actions may seem that way sometimes. She just reacts before thinking; she lets her emotions guide her actions. But as to where she “fits,” *smirks* right next to me in bed seems good to me.

A ~ Shut up dude. You are such an ass.

Ok. I need to lighten this up. I just feel bad for y’all. So each of you tell me one flirty thing about you and one dirty thing about you (I am so looking forward to these answers squee!)

M ~ Look at me, don’t I scream flirty & dirty, sweetheart? *chuckles* Nah, lets see. Flirty ~ I hardly ever make it through a show with my shirt on. Dirty ~ I hardly ever make it through a night with my pants on.

*winks*

A ~ Wow, I can’t imagine why Scarlett wouldn’t trust you. Anyways… Flirty ~ I love writing poetry/ song lyrics; Dirty ~ I’m oral obsessed *smiles mischievously*

*bites lip and smiles at Ash*

Thanks boys for staying civil towards one another. Although I have to say sitting in between the two of you was… damn my inside voice again. *blushes* I hope y’all will stop by again. It has been a blast.

A ~ Thank you so much for having me.

M ~ *kisses your cheek* Anytime babe.
