In addition to traditional silver colored tools, Professional Beauty Supply has an eye-catching line of brightly colored and patterned nail and hair care products, such as vivid green, rainbow and floral looks. The company offers products in several styles as well, and has cuticle scissors in ten varieties, for example.
Professional Beauty Supply’s slanted eyebrow tweezer in purple, a popular item, wholesales for $7.20 per dozen. “In stores, the same tweezer is around $6,” Mughal adds. Another top seller is the 3.5-inch cuticle scissor, which has a narrow blade that cleanly and easily snips cuticles, he notes. These also wholesale for $7.20 per dozen. The barber style hair scissor is also a strong seller, as many consumers want a handy cutting tool that they can use on themselves and family members between trips to the hair salon. At 7.5 inches, these scissors wholesale for $16.80 per dozen. “All our products give vendors great profit margins,” Mughal points out.
The company’s broad range of nail and hair tools includes a variety of unpackaged barber scissors, cuticle and nail scissors and nippers, tweezers, razors and files, cuticle pushers, and manicure and nail artist kits. The firm also sells professional type hair scissors for salon use.
Ordering highlights
Professional Beauty Supply has no minimum order. Products usually ship the same day, if an order is placed by 12 noon EST, and orders may be placed online or by phone. All blister packs have an opening at the top so they can be hung on a display, and the company provides a hanging strip unit with these items.
