Hi everyone,

I figured I should finally register and introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Kristina, a proud owner of a 2013 Taffeta White Fit Sport M/T. I've been lurking on the boards for the last several months prior to buying my Fit. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here because you all have been such a great resource.

Prior to getting the Fit, I had a '95 Sol, which I bought as my first car in 2002. What was a stock base model grew into my perfect little Honda with a barred JDM B18C (GSR) with LSD with ASR subframe brace, Function7 LCAs, Wilwood big brake kit, etc.

After 11 years though, I decided I needed a more practical car with more room and seats. That's when I decided on the Fit.

I am a diehard Honda fan. After putting 200k miles on the Sol, I knew the Honda was the way to go; I love the community and the practicability of their cars, not to mention the great aftermarket/part support.

So on July 4th, after going to a couple of dealerships, I decided to get the car from Norm Reeves in West Covina, CA as it had the only Taffeta White Fit Sport M/T in stock. Call me a traditionalist, but I was dead set on a stick shift. I just love driving it, and I need to squeeze every horsepower I can get from this thing, especially going from my previous setup, lol.

I got the car for $17,000 + TTL. I figured now was the best time to buy as it was year end, plus the 2014s were going to be made in Mexico. I'm going to keep this car mostly stock. I just always like the clean look. Here's a photo of my two little Hondas together before I sold the Sol =( :

The only things I've added are:

- cargo tray. (Love this thing. Already saved me once, and I use it all the time for my Costco runs)

- body side molding

- door sill trim

- tint. I have Johnson Renegade 35 on all windows except 20 in the cargo area. Yesterday, I just got Lumar Air Blue 80 installed on the windshield. I didn't realize that this car was a giant aquarium until I started to drive it around, lol. If there's anyone looking for a tint place in the So Cal area, I highly recommend Auto Tint Specialist in Huntington Beach. I was lucky enough to purchase a Groupon for the tint, so I paid around $150 to get all 7 windows tinted.

I've decided to transfer my car obsession from modding to detailing, lol. I currently love using the Gilmour 95QGFMR Foamaster II to wash the car, along with Chemical Guy's microfiber cloths. I currently use Meguiar's Gold Class car wash, but I'll probably switch to Adam's as it works up more of a lather with the foam gun. Jet Seal 109 is my new best friend, and I love the Daytona Speed Master wheel brush as you can bend it however way to get into the nitty gritty. That's enough of the product placement. I can go forever about this, lol.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on here and thank you for all the useful info!
