Montague offers a one year warranty on all its parts (repair and service). The frame is warranted beyond this date. Any part with a manufacturing fault will be replaced by Montague.

Before ordering the product, you need to make sure that you are ordering the correct version. The paratrooper pro comes in two sizes of frame – 18 inch and 20 inch. The 18 inch frame is suitable for people of heights from 5’3″ to 5’10”. The 20 inch frame is best for people with heights of 5’11” to 6’4″.
You can order the bike online at Amazon. Amazon usually has some nice discounts on the item and you might find yourself lucky. Once ordered, the bike is shipped for your address the next business day and should reach you within 3 or 4 days of ordering, depending on where you live. Shipping is free in the continental United States.
The Paratrooper arrives folded in a sturdy brown stock box. It needs some assembling. If you are a pro the assembly will not take more than ten to fifteen minutes. For a newbie it is advised to go through the instruction manual before you touch the parts. You might also need to tune your derailleur and inflate your tires. You should take the product for a review at your local mechanic shop to validate your warranty.
The bike is made in Vietnam. However, do not get misguided by this information. The Paratrooper is manufactured from the highest quality materials and top engineering. The frame is made from custom drawn aluminium and is super strong and sturdy, while remaining light to be a practical foldable. The matte black colour makes the bike very demagogue.
The foldable features a solid 27 speed system which is more than enough for a mountain range hike. The gears allow you to climb and go down tracks very easily, while shifting quickly and being very responsive. These features are very much needed for a reliable mountain bike, which the Paratrooper will prove itself as.
The brakes have been changed from the older version of the model and upgraded to Tektro Novela. These disc brakes are strong and allow you to stop quickly, even in a heavy traffic area.
Montague has integrated the patented Lock Out feature, which allows the suspension to be switched on and off, depending on the situation and the type of road. It is a pretty handy feature. The suspension itself is very good and keeps you from feeling really bad jolts and jerks, especially on a hilly terrain.
The body is supported by allow wheels and Knobby CST Critter tires. These are long lasting tires, thick in nature and have the ability to perform on trails and streets both. You will not face any air leak or puncture problem for a very long time. The large size of the tires mean that you can easily go about your way without any fear about misbalance.
The saddle on the cycle is uncomfortable especially for the riders with big butts. It is advised that if you are going for long rides, you should get your saddle replaced with a comfier one or at least out on a gel cover on the seat.
The folding mechanism in the machine is the best you will see in a foldable. You are paying much of the cost towards this premium feature. The FIT technology combined with the CLIX system makes the folding very easy and quick, without requiring the breaking of frame, any tools or human help. The QR level on the top tube makes sure that the Paratrooper fits easily in tight spots, without much effort. You can easily carry the cycle for long distances and it can even take a fall or two, without sustaining any damage.
Montague has also introduced a range of accessories for this model, including a kick stand and a carrying cage. It is high suggested that you put on some lights on the body as the matte frame makes it hard to see the bike for other drivers / riders / pedestrians in the dark.
The only thing you might have to replace from the original parts in the bike, is the pedal set which is just not good enough for long journeys. The pedal gives a poor grip and is very large in size compared to average feet size.
