Personal Biography:
Following your dream means trying to be your best every single day. Johry Batt believed in a vision beyond his career as a teacher. He followed his passion for fitness, leaving his comfort zone to start his own gym and fitness brand now known as 
HUBA. Shortly after leaving his day job as educator at a private school Johry was chosen as the December 2012 Men’s Health Coverguy winner, one of the most sought after titles in the modelling industry. Johry’s reputation as a fitness professional and model has grown from strength to strength since then.
Huba Fitness
Starting out from his garage, Johry now trains athletes, celebrities and anyone that wants to change their lifestyle from a fully-equipped functional training gym studio in Milnerton. Johry is the Founder and Co-Owner at HUBA FITNESS. With his motto being “dare to be different”, Johry keeps a keen eye on the training and development of each individual HUBA member. Johry and Huba is fast growing to be a household name in the South African Fitness industry.

He’s main focus at the moment is the growth of his fitness brand HUBA FITNESS and himself as a public fitness figure to create fitness for all.

Fitness, training, teaching and coaching is what I do for a living. I work with people that want to improve themselves everyday. I believe that a healthy balance is very important to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Training and nutrition are the two key factors to achieve this and with the platform I’ve built up over the past 5 years with various individuals, groups and companies I can definitely show that good nutrition makes all the difference if you want to better yourself.
