It took 13 innings on Sunday morning, but the GCL Mets (4-4) eventually defeated the GCL Marlins, 3-2 at the St. Lucie Sports Complex.
Edward Cabrera started for the Marlins, and allowed only an unearned run on four hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. Aneury Osoria (0-1, 13.50), the Marlins sixth pitcher of the game, lost in the bottom of the 13th inning on a Kenneth Bautista walk-off sacrifice fly.

On Sunday evening in front of 2,090 at BB&T Ballpark, the 10-7 Williamsport Crosscutters completed a three game sweep of the Batavia Muckdogs with a back-and-forth, 7-6 victory.
Batavia struck first, with an Aaron Knapp triple followed by an Isaiah White RBI-single in the second inning, then added another in the top of the fourth on a Knapp sacrifice fly. The Cutters came back in the bottom half with three runs, two on a Darick Hall single, and one on an Arquimedez Gamboa single for a 3-2 Williamsport lead.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Crosscutters added to their lead with a Luke Maglich RBI-triple. The teams scored a run apiece in the sixth inning, Batavia on a Knapp RBI-single and Williamsport on a William Cuicas sacrifice fly to make it 5-3, Cutters.
Batavia tied it in the top of the seventh with two runs scored on RBI singles from Corey Bird and Samuel Castro, but Williamsport scored in the bottom of the seventh and the bottom of the eighth, on home runs from David Martinelli (2) and from Darick Hall (3), respectively. The Muckdogs got a run back in the top half of the ninth on a Pablo Garcia RBI-single, but the rally ended with two runners on base when Castro flew out to Maglich.

The Grasshoppers closed out a four-game sweep of the Lakewood BlueClaws on Sunday night with a 4-3 victory. 10,011 were present for the pwning at FirstEnergy Park.
Justin Jacome started for the Hoppers, and didn't last very long. He gave up three earned runs on five hits and three walks in just 1.2 innings. Fortunately for him (and the rest of the Grasshoppers), the pitching trio of Ben Meyer, Jose Quijada, and CJ Robinson combined to allow a walk and three hits over 7.1 innings, striking out seven. Meyer (2-4, 4.20) earned the win, while Robinson was credited with his 14th save. Tyler Gilbert (4-7, 4.16) lost for Lakewood.

Luis Castillo started for Jupiter and pitched six scoreless innings, limiting the Miracle to four hits while striking out eight. Castillo earned a GameScore of 76 and got 75% (63-of-84) of his offerings over the plate. Travis Ballew (0-1, 9.72) took the loss, giving up six runs in 1.1 innings. The Zeps started scoring in the top of the first inning, with a Xavier Scruggs (9) solo shot. Colorado Springs struck back for three in their half, on a Andy Wilkins RBI-triple, a Josmil Pinto RBI-single, and a wild pitch from Jeremy Guthrie.
New Orleans took the lead back in the next half inning with three runs of their own, scored on a Kenny Wilson two-RBI double and a throwing error on the same play by opposing catcher Rene Garcia which allowed Wilson to cross the plate for a 4-3 Zephyrs lead.

The score would remain 11-8 until the eighth inning, when the Zephyrs tacked on an insurance run with Xavier Scruggs' (10) second solo shot of the game.
