 Hey,

There is a brand new video out by the NFFF and it's very
cool. It features the leadership of Prince Georges County (Maryland) Fire/EMS's
Kentland Co. 33 ..and their progressively lead and renewed focus
on aggressive firefighting operations ...and how that, along with
firefighter safety/survival training-starting with each probies first day
is a part of their company-everyday-every run. NOTE-check the below link to download their entire PROBIE BOOK.

In the video, Kentland’s officers and others talk about many
of the key points addressed at the National Fire Service Tampa 2 Summit.
These include not only personal responsibility, but accurate risk assessment,
and the important role the company officer plays in safety, survival,
supervision, training and accountability.

Watch the video… and make a New Years Resolution to insure that your
PROBIES start, the first day, with direction, focus and structure-so they-from
the beginning, can do as much as they can to MINIMIZE the potential for an
LODD...including their own.
