If you enter giveaways on a regular basis, you likely have a few websites that you like to use to find them. However, there are a lot of giveaways that might not be listed on these websites, and you could be missing out on winning some great prizes!

Giveaways not heavily advertised usually have a lower level of entries, so this means these are the giveaways you want to find. This doesn’t mean that the prizes aren’t any good, or the entry methods are difficult or time consuming. It simply means that they aren’t easily found. This could be from lack of advertising or maybe not. There are a ton of giveaways on the Internet now at any given time, and people can only enter so many.  Regardless of the reason why, entering giveaways with low entries increases your chances of winning.

Below, you will find some tips for finding giveaways that are not so easily found! By using these websites, you will see a wide range of giveaways. Always make sure to check out the entry requirements, as some giveaways are location specific.

This website:

Here on our site, we love giving stuff away, especially Amazon gift cards! See our current giveaways here.

Twitter and Facebook:

Twitter and Facebook are excellent ways to find those hard to find giveaways. The newest posts and tweets will show at the top of the page, which makes it a LOT easier to find giveaways, sweepstakes, and contests that haven’t already expired. On either of these sites, try using the following hashtags to see the most recent posts.

#Giveaway

#Entertowin

#Rafflecopter

#Sweepstakes

#Contest

*Note: Out of these two sites, I find Twitter to be the easiest to use. Facebook can be kind of glitchy sometimes when I try to use hashtags, so don’t rely on it alone. *

Google:

You can use Google or any search engine to search for giveaways, but you might find this to be a little more time consuming than searching Twitter or even Facebook. If you plan on searching Google, try the following:

“month” “year” “giveaway” (keep the quotation marks on these searches)

Also, you can substitute “giveaway” for “sweepstakes” or even “Rafflecopter”.  If you’re really serious about sweeps and giveaways, consider setting up a Google alert so you can get an email of new pages with the specific terms you want to find.

Sweepstakes & Giveaway Directories:

You probably already know or use several of these. I wanted to mention these, though, for those of you that are new to entering online giveaways! The giveaways you find on these sites will have the highest number of entries.

Online Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes Advantage

Contest Girl

Win Prizes Online

Woman Freebies

Magazine Sweepstakes:

There are several magazines that offer sweepstakes on their websites.  These will have a high number of entries, but it doesn’t hurt to enter, so you at least have a small chance of winning. Try searching Google with:

“magazine” “sweepstakes”

You will see several sites, including Redbook, Woman’s Day, Oprah, and OK! Magazine. Usually these sweepstakes offer bigger prizes than what you will find with giveaways. Of course there is always exceptions to this rule, but you understand what I’m trying to say! Most giveaways don’t include vacations or cars, while sweepstakes often do.

Television Channel Giveaways:

Some television channels offer some great sweepstakes on their websites. Try the following websites:

Travel Channel

Lifetime

Food Network

I hope you find these tips and suggestions helpful! Even though it’s tempting to only enter the giveaways and sweepstakes with the high dollar prizes, you will likely have a lot more luck winning the lower entry giveaways, so make sure not to skip these! There are a lot of people that enter these daily and win quite often.
