How many buffs do you own? You know, the soft tubes of fabric that offer so many uses for outdoorsy and fitness people.
I am sure I have about 20 buffs, all of them in the same sort of style and fit but in so many different designs. Buffs are a wonderfully versatile item of kit and I rarely go out for a walk, run or bike ride without wearing at least one buff. I often wear a buff on my head to keep my ears warm and a fleecy one around my neck on chilly days.
On a sunny day, a buff protects my head, forehead or the back of my neck. I wear a buff to my spin class to keep the sweat from my eyes. And I have used buffs to tie my hair back and, in an emergency, to wrap around a cut on my hand.
No doubt, like me, you have buffs that have been handed out free in race packs, others that have come free with a membership to a club or group and still more than you have bought because you like the look/colour/logo/design.
Six great buff designs
I don’t think you can have enough buffs and I am planning to launch my own Munroaming buffs. While looking around for buff design companies I came across some fabulous buff designs.
Buffs for cyclists: A new BUFF®Headwear collection has been launched for Le Tour de France 2015. The exclusive range is a collaboration between BUFF®Headwear and Kit Shack and includes some brilliant designs, such as red polka dot King of the Mountains and black and yellow Tour de France logo buffs.
Buffs for kids: What child could resist cars, tropical fish, love hearts, butterflies and even a jungle theme that make up this collection of buffs for juniors? Take a wee look at the collection here.
Buffs for dogs: Why should your favourite pet be left out of the buff thing? Dog buffs create a fun look for your mutt and also offer some protection against the sun. See the different colours and designs here.
Buffs for slimmer ladies: These slimmer made buffs have the same style, function and versatility of the Original BUFF® but they are made a little narrower and printed with more feminine designs. There are lots of designs.
Buffs for anglers: A range of UV Insect Shield Buffs have been impregnated with a long-lasting, “effective, odourless and convenient” form of insect repellent. These are said to be effective for at least 50 washes against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, fleas, chiggers and midges. The buffs also have a high UV protection.
For fashionistas: The Infinity buff looks quite different from the average buff. It’s longer and more “drapeable “, yet still has the feel and function of a normal Buff. See more.
