A new permanent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our Client - a well established non for profit organisation based in Brisbane inner CBD.

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of projects that deliver outcomes for clients, meet regulatory requirements and achieve strategic business solutions for the organisation. The position will require the performance of multiple roles within a range of projects and the position holder will be required to maintain a significant level of flexibility.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager will be as follows but not limited to; Complete requested research activities including new business solutions Source, collate and calibrate technical data for use in project activities Provide content expert input to project plans Develop a thorough understanding of the intent of the Project. Support completion of Project Proposals Manage identified areas of responsibility for project development, including requirements and specifications Inform project content and scope utilising specialist business knowledge. Provide support for and/or specialist input into completion of project plans and business cases to deliver positive outcomes. Review business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and/or usability. Provide guidance and contribute to the redefinition of processes to streamline the timing and accuracy of management processes. Validate that business requirements align with business process within current and planned business scenarios. Undertake business modelling analysis. Develop business requirements and system specifications for the design of solutions. Complete cost/benefit analysis of opportunities and options Provide direct management input and support of project activities in line with agreed project outcomes. Manage project resources effectively. Ensure optimal product selection and implementation. Manage the project scope. Provide regular reports on project progress and issues using approved report formats. Identify, mitigate and control all project risks and issues and report when necessary

To be successful for this opportunity, you will be required to hold the following key skills; experience and qualifications; Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business, Project Management or equivalent. Prince2 Project Management qualification desirable. Minimum 5 years business operations or project management experience. Minimum of 2 years working in the non-profit or community services industry in a management/strategic role, demonstrating applied knowledge and application of business process and systems management. Demonstrated effective leadership skills including a commitment to being a 'team player' and the ability to effectively implement significant change at a strategic level and to manage and mentor staff to achieve optimal business outcomes.
