Postion Purpose:
The position is for a Configuration/Build Manager able to develop a quality Configuration Management process and mentor and train development team to utilise the process. Extensive experience in packaging software, deploying and maintaining environments.
You should have strong experience Scripting for the ClearCase cleartool. Well-developed background in tool customizations, installation, maintenance, and execution of technical solutions, automation, and training.
You will be required to work closely with the develeopment and test teams and also liaise with the Deployment managers. Maintain a number of environments and have a configuration/deployment understanding of the applications being deployed.
Must have technical skills
Proven Experience working with Software Configuration Management, Clearcase, build processes, and software installation
Windows/Linux/Unix Administration skills
Experience in OSS/BSS systems (highly regarded)
Configuration Management experience in OSS/BSS projects
Experience Scripting in UNIX or Perl
Clearcase, Build processes
RPM and MSI packaging
Unix Shell and Perl Scripting
