Finite IT's client is currently looking for a seasoned UX specialist to work end client with a house hold name. A large corporate environment, you will be working with a team of seven UX Designers and Architects to develop a complex and intricate platform.
You will need to be an advocate of UX best practice and champion the cause throughout, working in an ever evolving/changing and Agile environment, you will be detail oriented and have the capacity to deliver a deeper understanding to the customer. Utilizing User Centered Design you will produce interactive solutions delivering across multiple platforms and devices.
You will have the following Experience:
Commercial design experience with a proven background designing and developing UI, UX or Usability in an agile development environment
Proven skills in implementing web application interfaces from wireframe and prototype designs
Understanding of design methodologies to support development of web applications and portals
A strong eye for aesthetics and design
Exceptional communication skills and relationship building skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
Technical knowledge of web application technologies, web browsers and web architectures and strong understanding of and commitment to web standards
Highly desirable
Cross browser, cross-platform iOS and Android application exposure
Some understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Financial Service Industries
You will be responsible for creating attractive web application designs and portals that effectively communicate to the customer key messages, and drive them logically through each Business Process
You must develop a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application design requirements
You will need to ensure best practice in regards to design, usability & web standards
Communicate technical design specifications in a clear and concise manner to the wider business
Proactively recommend best practice UX design and take up within the business.
