Finite Canberra has a large Private Client seeking an AppSence Application Specialist. This is a Permanent opportunity to commence ASAP. For this Role you must be an Australian Citizen with a current and active Security Clearance.
Responsibilities:
Undertaking and developing software design documentation in line with functional or application-specific requirements.
Developing detailed and complex software code as part of application programming activities.
Developing integration and unit test scripts derived from software requirements and conduct application software testing.
Providing expert technical advice on application issues, and manage the resolution of incidents during and after applications development.
Recommending improvements in processes to support the reduction of inefficiencies or variances, and to achieve consistent and best practice delivery of application support activities.
Experience:
Hands on experience in AppSense Application Manager & AppSense Performance Manager
Expertise in Citrix XenApp 5 & 6, Citrix presentation server 4.5
Hands on experience in Citrix XenDesktop 4.x/5.x
Hands on experience in AppSense Application Manager & AppSense Performance Manager
Expertise with core Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop services including, but not limited to, Zones, License,
Desktop Delivery Controller, Provisioning Services, Policy Management, and web interface.
Deep technical understanding of Presentation Server Core technologies (eg Windows TSs, CSG, WI, DDC, RM DB, Clients)
Support experience in a VDI infrastructure utilising Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Provisioning Services
Hands on experience with NetScaler v7000
