The Organisation:
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Government and Finance.
The Role:
FinXL currently are looking to engage an experienced Solutions Designer to work on one of their key client sites, providing expertise within a fast moving agile delivery environment across the development team.
The position will suit someone who is delivery focused that likes to work in a collaborative team environment and drive the success of an organisation. To be successful, you will need to have demonstrable commercial experience in Solution Designing within ICT.
Experience required:
Designing scalable, high availability and large quantity transaction based systems using architectural/design styles such as multi-tiered architecture, service oriented architecture and event focused design across the full technology stack including network, server and Middleware.
Documenting high-level and detailed solution designs to address the concerns of different stakeholders.
Software development platforms and frameworks.
Providing time and effort estimates on the design of the recommended solution.
Relational databases, particularly Oracle and MySQL.
Variety of server, operating system and Middleware platforms.
Storage and network devices and topologies.
Cloud services and computing.
Variety of security technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate within cross functional delivery teams, management and other program stakeholders.
