It’s Transformation Tuesday! Paint clothes are just part of our regular wardrobe these days. I am a terribly messy painter, so my paint clothes are very obvious paint clothes, and they are not very cute or stylish. My two oldest girls are just old enough to be embarrassed when I take them places dressed in my paint clothes. Ha! They are just getting used to it.:)

Steff and I are quickly learning that re-finishing furniture is one of our favorite things to do! Today we’re sharing a darling side table Steff got from her Grandma. We love grandma’s free furniture! We have both told our Grandma’s they are not allowed to get rid of anything by way of the dump or donation.:)  Check it out!

After cleaning it really well we used our good old DIY Chalk Paint (see HERE.)   We have learned that white chalk paint usually requires 4 coats.

Once the paint was dry, we sanded around the edges.  We also spray painted the handles black before re-attaching them.  We sealed it with our favorite Minwax Paste finishing wax.

Gorgeous!!  We highly recommend grandma’s furniture!  :)
