Working at home has got to be one of the best things about this business, and yes in order to succeed with any online venture does have to be treated as a business and not just as a novelty or hobby.
Just imagine not having to get up in the morning, rushing around then scraping the ice of the windscreen or queuing at a bus stop like we do here in the UK within the depths of winter. Yes working from home definitely has all the advantages winter or summer; we call it living the laptop lifestyle.
In order to succeed you first have to gain the knowledge after all you wouldn’t jump into a car without learning to drive or wire up your home electrics without being taught how to in the first place! It is just the same when starting out on the internet. Believe me when I say this as I have got the tee shirt when it comes to the so called opportunities to earn thousands on line that are advertised by the gurus with their secret formulas that they have discovered that usually read like this “Watch as I show you how to earn $100 within an hour” I have developed this brand new software that with just a few pushes of the button spews out cash into your bank account on autopilot! I have to laugh at it now because once upon a time I used to spend my hard earned cash on adverts similar to this obviously sounding more convincing than the above example,
When you purchase the product you are then usually presented with the nasty upsell and then the alarm bells start ringing because you then find out that unless you purchase the upsell you are not going to make a dime and other opportunities are usually badly put together training packages with out-dated information or parts of the information that you need left out and you then have to spend more money out of your pocket to get that.
So my advice to anyone who wants to start a work at home business is to learn as much as you can about the systems that most successful marketers use to start earning legitimate money online. Most marketers that make money online come under the title of affiliate marketing this is one of the easiest ways to make an on-going income, what is affiliate marketing? The easiest way to explain this is: someone who advertises a company’s product and when it sells they earn a commission and some company’s pay as much as a 75% commission which is lucrative for all involved.
How do you go about becoming an affiliate marketer? You may ask there is many companies that use affiliates such as Amazon, Argos, ClickBank, Clicksure and many more these companies find it very cost affective to market their products this way rather than to use television, radio, magazines or newspapers etc. That form of advertising can be really expensive. So by visiting for example Amazon associates you can sign up there to join their affiliate program and by visiting ClickBank you will find their form to join up, they are mainly self-explanatory and they are free to join as with most of the companies however companies like Argos tend to use a company called commission junction (cj.com) to manage their affiliate programs although that is a little bit more complicated and you usually need a website that runs along the same type of niche for example Cameras, hosting, weight loss etc.
