The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Commercial Finance Manager to join this vast growing division of the Capita Plc.
Your role will be to maximise profitable commercial opportunities on new prospects and clients for the UK and South Africa.
Accountabilities Activities
- Lead commercial input into bid documents, help create innovative solutions, produce cost and pricing models and written responses including pricing mechanism. – Work on new bids, transformational deals, contract renewals and new activities with existing clients. – Pricing for UK and South Africa locations – Participate in the negotiation of client contracts and new business opportunities including pricing and contract mechanisms to mitigate financial risk and maximise profitable opportunities – Produce and present the commercial proposal for board sign off in line with the governance pack – Challenge the business on the pricing assumptions to deliver a robust price balancing the need to deliver value for money whilst balancing the risks of the deal and the margin return for the business – Review both cash and PL impact of the deal – Develop and present commercial solutions to both client and senior management to agree implementation of proposals – Drive input with Operations and Sales to deliver client and business requirements of the priced solution and evaluate new commercial opportunities
You’re Background
- Qualified Accountant – Previous experience in a Commercial manager role – Experience in a commercial client facing role with decision making responsibilities – Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in business issues – Proven record of producing innovative deals and negotiation skills. – Exposure to the board / Senior management teams – Ability to challenge and influence others, both internally and externally. – Excellent excel and financial modelling skillsFollow Capita on twitter @capitacareersFollow Capita on facebook @careersatcapita
