By Jacob Mertens, Review Editor for Film International.
Here we are at the cusp of a new year, and the long-awaited Film International call for reviews is finally here! It is my pleasure to announce that we are actively seeking reviews for the titles listed blow. If you are interested in receiving items for review, please email me your mailing address and a list of titles in order of preference at: filminternationalreviews@gmail.com. As always, titles will be given on a first come, first served basis and reviewers will largely be held to one item for the current call. If a title has “TAKEN” by it, it has already been claimed.
Please note that the majority of press screeners for films will require a region 2 or region free DVD player. Also note that Criterion press copies will be allocated in-house from this point on, but that unsolicited reviews for Criterion titles will still be welcome in the new year.
The deadline for reviews is June 1st, 2014.
