The Vodafone Fiji Under-18 rugby team had their final training run yesterday before they take on the Australia Schoolboys today.

Tour co-ordinator Mikaele Mudreilagi said the boys’ captain’s run at 5pm yesterday was all part of this approach they were taking towards the game.

“The boys are resting well and adjusting to the climate here,” Mudreilagi said.

“They have their captain’s run at Levin Park at 5pm which is just to get them acclimatised and used to the conditions before the first game against the Aussies. All is good and we’re ready for the game.”

Meanwhile, the team and management visited Paraparaumu College yesterday as part of their tour of the New Zealand capital exchanging cultural gifts with the school.

“They visited Paraparaumu College and were greeted by the students and principal at the school followed by a lunch and exchange of gifts.”

Mudreilagi revealed that the Fiji High Commission’s acting Head of Mission in Wellington, Mere Tora,

would be issuing the jerseys today at 11am to the boys before they take on Australia at 5pm at the Levin Domain Stadium.
