I've done a few trips around different parts of QLD over the past year so I thought I'd put some photos up. I'll just put up a few photos from each area, sorry if there are any that have been posted here before!

Way too many photos to post them all up here but if youre keen to see more feel free to check out my flickr (

) or instagram @wildlifetraveler

I'll start off with some species local to me in South East Queensland.

Red eyed tree frog (Litoria chloris) by Jasmine Vink, on Flickr
These guys are one of the most photogenic frog species in my area. Although their call sounds like a cat being drowned...

Golden-crowned Snake (Cacophis squamulosus) by Jasmine Vink, on Flickr
A common site on the road in the warmer months. They put on a great show but are only mildly venomous and very reluctant to bite.

burton's legless lizard (Lialis burtonis) by Jasmine Vink, on Flickr
Australia's most widespread reptile. These guys feed on skinks which is pretty cool!

Heading further west we hit the Brigalow which brings a new set of species. I'm a massive burrowing frog fan so this is one of my favourite regions.

I was lucky enough to head further inland through QLD earlier in the year. One of my favourite places was definitely Windorah.

And then up through Mt Isa which was amazing!

From Mt Isa we headed north through Cairns and the Iron Range. Far too many photos from this region to post here!

Back down the East coast towards Brisbane we managed to find 5 species of Phyllurus. This was my favourite photo of them all though!
