Breana smiled as she signed autographs and took pictures with her many fans. Talk That Talk has finally been released and she was glad it was over. It was a long and grueling process this time and you can kind of hear it when you listen to the album. Its filled with ups and downs, just like her life truly was now. She was very proud of it, despite the fact that she and Jay disagreed over one major detail.

"What do you mean ‘Birthday Cake’ is only going to be a snippet?"he asked angrily as he looked at her and Terius aka The Dream, who helped produce and write the song. "This song is one of the best on the album and it still isnt done!?"
"Its missing something"Bree tried to explain to him
"Yeah its missing something, its only a minute long! It needs another verse and bridge! Come on Terius, you’re better than this!"Jay said as he looked at him

"We are still caught between it being a solo or having a feature, we’re thinking maybe we could have another female or maybe a rapper-"
"I dont know if I want a rapper though"Bree said
"A rapper would be perfect and who more perfect than Drake? Im sure he wouldnt mind, didnt you just see him?"Jay asked her
"We already worked on a song. He was also on my last album. Its very been there and done that. I want something different"Breana said
"So we’re gonna see what the fans think. They’re very vocal with Pisces on her Twitter, if they like it and want more, we’ll come back to it. Dont look at it as unfinished, look at is as a teaser, a musical trailer to what could be the biggest hit next year"Terius said and Bree nodded, agreeing with him
"I was thinking maybe a male singer could sing with me too"Bree said
"You got a male singer right here"Jay said as he pointed to Terius
"Someone I havent worked with"Bree struggled to say and he just shook his head
"Ok I guess I just have to trust you-"
"Thats right you do, since I am the executive producer on this album"Bree said. "Besides ‘Cake’, what do you think?"
"Its great. I can see many hit singles out of this. We Found Love is doing well. Its number 1 and so is the video. Im very proud of you Pisces"Jay said, softening as he gave her a hug. "Lets pray that its a number one album as well"he said to her
Sadly, it wasnt but it landed at number 3 on the charts in the US and being in the top 3 was just as good for her. It did place at number 1 in the UK and that was just fine with her. However, now that Jay was concerned about ‘Birthday Cake’ not being finished, she was concerned too. Did she make a mistake by only making a snippet? She wished that she could be honest with him but the main reason that she didnt finish the song is because she could only hear a certain person on the song with her.
Maurice.
The song would be perfect for him, he could probably rap on it too and once that idea entered her mind, it wouldnt leave and she realized she didnt want anything less than the best and that was him.
When she told Terius, he was shocked but he saw her vision too. Maurice would be perfect. However, she couldnt tell Jay. He was very anti-Maurice and she feared if she asked, he would vote to scrap the song altogether. No, she wasnt letting this song go so Miley Cyrus could take it and make money off of it instead. It was HER song.
Too bad she couldnt call him. She was still heartbroken and she was afraid that Maurice wouldnt answer or even worse, turn her down.
So she decided to buy herself some time but like Jay predicted a lot of her fans wanted more ‘Birthday Cake’ once they heard the whole album.
"Do you think Trey would be down for doing a song with me?"Breana asked Jasmeen

"Which song? Your album is finished, you’re not starting on your next one already are you?"
"I dont even know if there will be a next one"Bree said and Jasmeen stared at her in shock. "This one was a little more of a grueling process. Ive made three albums in three years, maybe I need a break, work on other endeavors. MAC wants a makeup line. Macy’s wants another perfume line. I want to help you with River Island"
"Your fans will miss you"Jasmeen said,"But whatever you think is best. Dont make any decisions like that just yet. We have some vacations lined up in Miami and Barbados, once you get some rest maybe you should make a decision about the future"
"Yeah you’re right, but anyway do you think Trey would do ‘Birthday Cake’ with me? Would you mind? Its really racy"
"I love that song, its one of my favorites. I was wondering why it was never finished"she said to her
"Cuz the person I truly want on the song wants nothing to do with me"
"Who? Who would turn you down?"
"Maurice"
"Wait….what?"Jasmeen asked her
"He already turned me down as a person, why would he do a song with me?"she asked her and Jasmeen sighed,"Besides I shouldnt mix business with pleasure…."
"Well you can ask Trey. I think it would be cute if you two did a song together"
"I’ll think about it. Dont tell him I said anything just yet ok?"Breana asked her and Jasmeen sealed her lips.

After a lot of promotion for the album, Bree was ready for her vacation. She was walking on air, despite troubles in the love department, We Found Love was number one for a full month in a row and it had over 100 million views on Vevo and counting. A lot of critics were hailing it as her best song and video yet. They spent a week in Barbados with the family for Christmas and then flew to Miami to spend another week there for New Years. Lee was in high spirits when she saw Wale but soon someone else would be in high spirits when someone stopped by as a surprise.
They made their way down the hall of the hotel to their suites. “Here’s yours Genn. Gave you the ocean view just like you wanted”Bree said excitedly

"Ok thanks"she said to her, wondering why Bree was so excited. "What?"she asked her as Bree continued to stand there
"You need help with your bags? You got your hands full. You cant even open the door-"
"Bree, I got it. Whats gotten into you, you never help me with MY bags?!"Genny said with a laugh as Bree took her carry ons from her
"Just hurry up and get in and get dressed so we can head to Rozay’s mansion for his party"Bree said and Genn shook her head at her and opened the door. She was surprised to see the light was already on and then she frowned when she saw a few rose petals on the floor. She opened the door wider and saw a trail of roses that led through the suite.
"What the hell?"Genn said and looked at Bree
"Dont look at me! Maybe room service did this, thinking it was my room?"Bree asked her
"Ugh, cant get good help these days"Genn said as she put her purse down on her bed and walked over to the phone
"What are you doing?"Bree asked as Lee, Jas and Naureen walked in
"Im calling room service to clean up this mess, there’s fucking rose petals everywhere. Its not Valentines Day"Genn said with a shake of her head
"Dont do that, you’ll ruin the surprise"a voice said and she turned around in shock when she saw Blake standing in the doorway that led out to the balcony of her suite.
Bree, Lee, Jas and Naureen squealed and laughed when they saw the shocked look on Genn’s face. Blake was all suave, wearing a tux and holding a triple bouquet of roses for her.

"It took me an hour to make this trail of roses and I got something else out here for you too"he said as he winked at her. Genn squealed and ran to him and jumped into his arms as the girls aww’ed
"How did you…How?"Genn asked him after she covered his face and lips in passionate kisses
"Bree has been threatening corporate and they finally gave in to take me off probation"Blake said
"Yeah I threatened to go with another company all together. If you cant be with Blake, then I dont need their bodyguards"Bree said
"We’ve been conspiring and she flew me out here to surprise you"Blake said and Genn ran over to Bree and hugged her close
"Thank you so much"Genn said
"Dont mention it. Im a sucker for true love girl. I know how it is to be kept away"she said to her as she wiped Genn’s tears. "Now let go of me and go to your man, you can see me anytime"
"And now you can see me anytime too"Blake said as he led her out to the balcony where a fabulous dinner for two was set up. "I got a new job and I bought a condo in Calabasas and I want my baby to move in"he said as he picked up a keychain with one key and got down on his knees. "Genn, will you do me the honor by moving in with me?"
Genn gasped,”Are you serious?”she asked and turned to Bree,”But what about-“
"I have these three bitches if I need anyone"Bree said as she nodded her head to Jas, Naureen and Lee. "Go on and be a good little housewife. You deserve this. You’re only 20 minutes away"Bree said
"Is that a yes?"Blake asked
"Yes!"Genn said and they all aww’ed again as he gave her the key and gave her a kiss
"Ok lets leave these love birds alone"Jas said,"Im guessing you arent going to Rick Ross’s party?"
"We’ll be late"Blake said and he winked at them as he held Genn close. Bree gave him a thumbs up and he mouthed ‘thank you’ to her and they all left the suite. They were all in high spirits now. Love did that to you. They got ready for the party and left the two lovebirds behind.
Soon it was Lee’s turn to be in high spirits when they entered the party. It was a huge one, Rozay’s mansion was filled with bottles of champagne and strippers. Wale was also in attendance and he soon whisked Lee away into the crowd.
"And then there were three"Bree joked as she took a glass of champagne off of a passing tray as a group of guys walked up to them and Jasmeen smiled at them, recognizing one of them as Meek Mill

"Hey Jas, its good to see you"Meek said as he gave her a hug and smiled at Pisces and Naureen. He and Jas met on several occasions through Trey.
"Good to see you"Jas said,"I’d like to introduce you to Naureen and Pisces"
"Its nice to meet you both"he said as he kissed both of their hands and Naureen blushed. "Im such a big fan of yours Pisces, Ive been begging Lee and Jas here to introduce me"
"And now here we are"Bree said as she finished her glass of champagne and took another. She wanted to have fun tonight, she was on vacation. She was in a ‘fuck it’ type of mood.
"You wanna come with us? We’ll show you where the real party is"Meek said as he held out his arms and the three of them held on
"Are there strippers?"Bree asked
"Tons of them"
"Some dank?"
"Tons of it"
"Lets go"Bree said without hesitation

They both would like to spend some time alone at home. Taurus man also likes to be surrounded by nature while Pisces enjoys exploring new places, thus they would like to go somewhere close to nature.

Maurice, Mijo and Jake were in high spirits when they landed in Vegas. Mijo and Jake were happy that Maurice was hosting a few parties there for New Years and that he invited them along for the ride. It would be a true guys outing, like The Hangover, which they have all seen a hundred times. Jake was hoping to take great videos and photos of their adventures while Mijo hoped that Maurice would get the hottest strippers to go back to their suites with them.
He was upset that Jas still hadnt made a decision yet as to what she was going to do with Trey. She was even spending New Years with him in Miami. She kept singing the same old song, every time she tried to tell Trey the truth, it wasnt the right time or something got in the way. He had a feeling Jas was never going to speak up and he was going to lose her forever….or maybe not.
Would it be bad if he wanted to continue a relationship with her on the side? Have an affair with her? He was only considering that because he loved her and he just couldnt let go if she wasnt going to.
But enough about that, he was in Vegas and he wanted to get fucking wasted to forget the fuck coaster that he and Jas were obviously riding on.
Mijo
"You ready bitches?"Mijo asked Jake and Maurice as he fixed his tux. They were partying at Pure tonight and it was going to be a star studded affair. Everyone in the R&B/Hip Hop community on the West Coast flew out to Vegas for Maurice’s party. It was going to be epic.

"I feel weird in this tux"Jake said as he took a selfie of himself and sent it to Naureen. She replied back in seconds saying: SO CUTE!!! He blushed.
"I would be too if I dressed like a lesbian lumberjack 24/7"Mijo said and Jake put him in a chokehold. Maurice shook his head as the two wrestled. Mijo seemed to be rubbing off on him.

"You two Stooges ready to go? Ya’ll gonna fuck up your tuxes"Maurice said to them as he brushed the shoulders off of his tuxedo jacket
"We’re waiting for you"the two said breathlessly as they stopped wrestling and fixed their tux jackets and they all strolled out.
The three walked down the red carpet and Maurice quickly thanked a few people for coming out and posed for pictures with Mijo while Jake and the paps took their photos. They were about to head inside when Mijo saw a familiar blonde out of the corner of his eye. He turned and groaned when he saw who it was. “What the fuck Reece?”he asked as he turned to him
"What did I do?"
"You invited her!?"Mijo asked as he nodded his head to Kae who was talking to reporters on the red carpet
"Yeah, why wouldnt she be here? This party is being hosted by Black Pyramid and The Kill"
"I thought Mechanical Dummy was hosting this one-"
"No thats tomorrow"Jake said and Maurice nodded,"Why are you so surprised?"
"Because they broke up thats why or at least thats what I was told-"
"Who told you that!?"Jake and Maurice asked him
"Google! Fucking Google man, do you have something to tell us?"Mijo asked and Maurice sighed
"Its true"Maurice said and the two gasped. "About two months ago"
"How did we not know this?"Mijo asked him
"Because I didnt want it to be a big thing. I just need to be alone for awhile, focus on me"Maurice said
"Thats why shes been MIA"Jake said putting it all together. Wait til Naureen hears this….
"Just keep it on the low ok? Breakup rumors are the worst when the press knows and some are catching on but we dont need anyone confirming it or bringing it back up. It hit her kinda hard"
"Shit, it hit me kinda hard and we werent even fucking"Mijo said and Maurice glared at him.
"We’re still friends but I only see her when it comes down to the clothing lines. Thats it and thats how it should stay"
"You sure you want your ex to be in charge of a company you own?"
"Yeah, thats why there are contracts written up for that type of bullshit"Maurice said
"Well this vacation is still ruined"Mijo said
"Why?"Jake asked
"Because it was supposed to be a guys weekend and if I knew that we were inviting exes and shit, I woulda found a couple girls and brought them along"Mijo said sourly
"Yeah me too"Jake said, though the only person he had in mind was on the other side of the country
"Its just a party. Just to keep the rumors at bay and to promote our lines, thats it. Shes not even talking to me so chill out"Maurice said to them
"SHIT!"Mijo said
"WHAT?"Jake and Maurice asked him in shock
"She fucking brought Seiko"he said as he nodded his head down the red carpet and sure enough Kae was posing for photos with Seiko, Christina Milian and Tae Heckard. "I cant ring in 2012 with my ex in the same building, do you know how much bad karma that is?"
"Chill Mijo. Pure is a huge nightclub, you prolly wont run into them"Maurice said as he tried to drag them both inside. However, Kae caught up to them
"Lets take a photo for the paps"Kae said to Maurice
"Why?"
"Because you still wanna be fake to protect me for some reason, might as well keep up the act"she said and Seiko smirked and winked at Kae, that a girl.
"Fine"Maurice said and before they knew it, cameras were flashing. Jake got a couple of photos and then Maurice felt they had enough
"Lets go. Enjoy the party Kae, ladies"he said as he hugged Seiko, Christina and Tae and then he disappeared into the crowd
Kae sighed,”He still wants nothing to do with me”she said sadly

"Not after tonight. I gotta plan baby. I always got a plan"Seiko said as they took more photos together before they went inside
Meanwhile in Miami, Bree, Jas, Trey, Naureen, Meek Mill, Omarion, Stalley and French Montana had a private party of sorts in one of Rozay’s recording studios in his basement. The room was filled with strippers, weed and champagne and everyone was enjoying themselves. However, once the clock struck midnight and more champagne was poured, all Meek wanted was Pisces. He stopped paying attention to the strippers and stared in awe with low and lazy eyes as Pisces threw dollar bills at a stripper named Miami’s Finest as she danced in her lap. Miami’s Finest had her ass all out and she was topless but all he could stare at was Bree.
"You want some of this Meek? I see you looking"Bree said to him, noticing him staring them down as she passed another blunt to him
"Yea baby, you want some of this?"Miami’s Finest said to him as she got in his lap. He smiled and spanked her ass hard as he threw more dollar bills on her
"Im too high for this"Jas said to Trey as she leaned onto his shoulder lazily. "I need some air"
"Ok, lets go"Trey said with a laugh as he helped her up
"Ima come too"Naureen said as she stood up,"You good here Bree?"
"Hell yeah. Im good"Bree said as she rocked in her seat as reggae played in the background. They left out and Miami’s Finest eventually moved on to Stalley
"You doing good over there?"Meek asked Bree
"Yeah Im good"
"Im fucking drunk yo. You seem like you can hold your liquor better than me"
"Stop being a pussy then"she said and he spit out his champagne and she laughed
"Oh word? Im a pussy now?"he asked her and she laughed and nodded. "You can call me whatever you want though. I dig it. I love that accent of yours. I can listen to you talk for hours"
"You’re sweet"she said with a smirk
"I saw you twerkin’ earlier. You could definitely give these strippers a run for their money"
"Thanks, I think I was a stripper in another life"
"I can believe it"Meek said as he smiled lazily at her,"How much would I need to pay you to dance for me?"he asked her as Stalley took Miami’s Finest hand and took her out of the room
"You cant afford me"she said and winked at him
"Aww no man, no Pisces, you’re breaking my heart here"he said as he clutched his heart jokingly
"Theres a room filled with strippers right in front of you"she said, though most of them left and were taken to a private room
"Who needs strippers when you got Pisces?"Meek said,"You’re the real deal"he said to her
She raised an eyebrow at him and she realized that he was serious. Some of the strippers got salty when they heard that and left out as French Montana and Omarion picked a few lucky ladies and left out with them as well.
And then there were two…
"Whose to say that you can even handle me?"she asked him
"Come on over here and find out?"he asked as he licked his lips. Bree smiled as she stared at him and then ‘Flex’ by Mad Cobra came on. She smiled as she danced in her seat, this song would be perfect to dance to. She decided to indulge him and she got up and started winding her hips in front of him. Meek smiled widely and threw dollar bills on her. "You’re so sexy Pisces. Did Jas tell you I have a crush on you?"he asked her
"Nah she didnt"she said as she danced right in front of him,"Shame on her for not telling me huh?"
"Now you know"he said with a shrug as he leaned back in his seat. She was in a good mood and she decided to tease him some more and turned her back to him and slow wined her hips and ass in front of him. He watched her as he licked his lips and then he couldnt stop himself and he reached up and grabbed her by her hips and pulled her into his lap. "Couldnt help myself"he said as he whispered in her ear. "You mad at me?"
"Nah"she said as she continued to dance in his lap as she smoked on her blunt. She could feel him getting turned on and she found herself thinking ‘fuck what happens tonight’. It was 2012 and she was gonna ring in the new year right. This was the year of Giving No Fucks. She was gonna be unapologetic about everything and do what she wanted. She wasnt gonna let anyone hold her down.
She continued to dance in his lap and she didnt care when she felt him get hard, Mad Cobra’s ‘Flex’ faded into ‘Boom Bye Bye’ by Buju Banton and she continued to dance in his lap. She felt his hands caress her hips as he watched her dance in his lap. He sat up and she could feel his breath on his neck and she felt his lips kiss the back of her neck. She bit her lip as she leaned her head to the side as he started to whisper in her ear.
"Aye, you wanna get outta here?"he asked her
Before she could answer, the door to the studio opened and Drake walked in. He turned and saw Bree dancing in Meek’s lap. He stared at them in shock. She looked up at him and saw that he was surprised to see her and she was just as surprised to see him.
"Ayeee! Drake! My nigga! Happy New Year man"Meek said

"Yeah Happy fucking new year"Drake said with a dry chuckle and shook his head,"I’ll leave you two to it"he said as he walked out
Bree stood up and followed him out, leaving Meek confused and hoping she would come back. She chased Drake down the hall,”Aubrey!”
"Oh dont let me stop you from fucking one of my homeboys. Not on my account"he said angrily as he kept walking. She ran up and stood in front of him so she could block his way to the staircase leading him upstairs. "What?"he asked her
"I didnt know you were coming"
"I didnt think I was gonna come either but you know shit happens. Like it matters to you-"
"We were just having fun in there. He means nothing"Bree explained to him as she nodded her head down the hall to the studio where Meek was still waiting. The hallway was crowded with people who were smoking, drinking and dancing to the music that echoed throughout the house. A few couples were dancing close up against the wall. The way this party was going it was about to turn into a fucking orgy in a minute. "Come on dont get mad"she said with a giggle
"You aint gotta explain shit to me aight?-"
"Im on oneeee. Come on, what happened to not giving a fuck cuz we’re young?"she asked him, trying to get him to lighten up but he wasnt feeling it. Especially since she was quoting one of HIS songs as a good excuse to give one of his boys a fucking lapdance
"Like you said, lets go with the flow and see how it goes? I should have known"he said as he walked past her
"Aubrey come on dont be like that. Im doing you a favor. You can have me whenever you’re in town and when you’re not, you can have anyone you want. Isnt that what everyone wants? Cake and eating it too?"
"Im not everyone Breana. Shit, I thought that one day you would fucking figure that out"he hissed at her and walked away from her. She sighed, her buzz was totally gone. She put the blunt she was holding out and went up the staircase and walked to the main party. It was still in full swing but as she looked around for Aubrey she realized that he disappeared.
Meanwhile in Vegas, it was still 2011 and the party was in full swing. It would be 2012 in just a few minutes and everyone was drinking, dancing and having a great time. Maurice smiled as he and his boys partied in VIP with Snoop, Warren G, Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Alicia Keys, a few of the Kardashians and some new guy named Kendrick Lamar.

"Great party man, thanks for having me"Kendrick said as he dapped him up
"Thanks for coming, your mixtape is hot. We gotta collab"
"Word? You got a new album coming out?"
"Yep, Im gonna debut my new single in a few"he said and Kendrick smiled and nodded
"Have your people call my people"he said as he patted him on the back as a particular song started to play. The whole club got hype as the smoke machines went off and the lights blinked to the beat as ‘We Found Love’ started to play. He couldnt help but smile as he smoked his blunt and downed the rest of his champagne as he looked at the crowd below him. Everyone was having a good time and it seemed that everyone loved this song. The floor was getting packed by the second, everyone was scrambling to find a partner to dance with or to just let loose with. But he stayed still as he nodded his head and swayed back and forth as he stood by himself. He was fine right where he was. Bree’s voice filled his ears and he chuckled to himself, imagining what it would be like if she walked into this club right now? In the state that he was in, he wouldnt be able to keep his promise of leaving her alone anymore. He wondered where she was, what was she doing, who was she with, was she ok, was she celebrating? He hoped so. She deserved to celebrate. Her album was going to be a huge hit.
Yeah he bought it. He bought two copies, an iTunes copy and a hard copy for his Range. His favorite song was ‘Birthday Cake’ and he was dying to know why it was only a minute long. It was a banger.
"Having fun?"a voice asked, interrupting his thoughts. His eyes shot open and he looked next to him and saw Kae standing there
"Yeah. You?"
"Im good. We gotta do the countdown and pop champagne"she said to him as she nodded her head to the DJ booth where Swizz Beats was spinning. He nodded and followed her. They got in the DJ booth as he nodded his head to We Found Love as Kae rolled her eyes at him.
"Ok, put your glass of champagne in the air because we ‘bout to countdown!"Swizz said as Maurice picked up the mic

He smiled and took it back from her as gently as he could as he saw the clock winding down
"Ok enough of that!"he said and Kae glared at him,"Its about to be 2012! They say the world is gonna end this year so lets party like its our fucking last"he said as they all raised their drinks in the air. "Countdown with me, 10…….9…….8…….7…….6…….5…..4……..3…….2….1…..HAPPY NEW YEAR!"he said and soon the club exploded with smoke, balloons and streamers as they fell from the ceiling. Everyone cheered and grabbed the closest person or their mate and gave them a new year kiss.
Maurice smiled and downed his champagne but when he turned to Kae he found himself being pulled against her as she planted a huge kiss on the lips. He was in such shock that they were lip locked long enough so that everyone could see. He pulled away first and faked a smile,”What the fuck was that!?”
"Keeping up appearances"she said to him with a smirk
"You lucky we in public"he said to her
"Whatever"she said as she smirked at him and handed him a glass of champagne,"Its all in good fun love"she said as she walked off to her girls. He shook his head as Swizz Beats got back on the mic
"Ok and here’s Maurice Brown’s new single off his new album called Fortune which is due out this summer. Here is ‘Turn Up The Music’!"he said as he started to play the record as the crowd continued to dance. Once his voice filled the speakers, he couldnt get mad anymore, because he couldnt wait for his fans to hear his latest record. He smiled as he watched the crowd below him dance as he downed the champagne Kae gave him
"Dude, what was that?"Mijo asked him
"Just her antics, shes trying to get to me"he said with a shake of his head,"Lets turn up!"he said as more bottles of champagne with sparklers were brought over to them. He put his arm around Jake and Mijo as he licked his lips, tasting a weird after taste in his mouth for some reason. "This new year is ours! I can feel it!"he said as he handed them each a glass,"Its fucking Vegas! TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!?"he said and they cheered
However, the rest of the night was a blur for him after that and hours later, he woke up in a bed that wasnt his own. He slowly opened his eyes and groggily turned his head to the side and saw a female body laying next to him. “Bree?”he croaked as he tried to decipher who it was through his blurry vision. He rubbed his eyes and then he gasped when he saw familiar tattoo on the girls back.
It was Kae.
FUCK, was the first thing he thought and he laid there and stared at the ceiling, wanting to die.
He was doing so good. He was getting work done, staying out of trouble and he seemed to be having a breakthrough in therapy and he fucked up. Again. As usual, what was he going to do now!? He ran his hands down his face and sighed as Kae stirred.
"You awake Maurice?"she asked him once she woke up, she rubbed her eyes and he only nodded, not knowing what to say. "What time is it?"she asked and then looked at the alarm clock. "Shit. Im gonna miss my flight"she said as she shot out of bed. She was moving fast for someone who seemed as drunk as he was last night….or maybe she wasnt, he couldnt remember much.
"What happened?"he asked, though he could tell what transpired as he peeked under the sheets and saw his naked body as he looked and saw Kae scrambling to cover hers
"You were drunk and I saved you from a bunch of prostitutes"she said,"Happy New Year"she said and winked at him as she whistled…..was that ‘We Found Love’? She walked into the bathroom and closed the door. He sighed and groaned as he dragged himself out of bed. Was he in the fucking Twilight Zone or what? He wanted to wake up from this weird ass dream he was having but he soon realized it wasnt a dream.
"Fuck"he said. He found his clothes and snuck out, not able to face Kae
Lets just say Maurice was so out of whack after waking up next to Kae, that he toned it down in Vegas for the next few parties he was throwing. He told Mijo and Jake what happened and Mijo gave him shit for it whereas Jake didnt know what to think and Maurice couldnt wait to get back to LA.
Thankfully, when he got back, Turn Up The Music was all over the radio and Team Breezy loved it. At least there’s that. He tried to focus on the music instead of the mistake he made with Kae and he tried his best to forgive himself for his slip up. He couldnt be distracted because it was back to business as usual.
He was invited to a private party that was being thrown for nominee’s for the upcoming Grammy Awards. By the grace of God himself, he was nominated for Best R&B Album along with a couple other nominations and he was ecstatic when he found out the news. He hasnt been to the award show since the incident and he was glad that he was being given a second chance by the Academy themselves. He made sure to dress clean and be on his best behavior as he schmoozed with a few celebrities including Elton John, Adele and Usher. He was having a great conversation with the three of them and then excused himself to use the restroom. When he finished, he fixed his collar and his tie and walked out the bathroom as the door to the ladies room opened at the same time.
He almost didnt recognize her because of the head full of brown curls but she happened to turn around and glance behind her and she paused when she saw him as he stopped dead in his tracks, his body stopped functioning because he was in such shock from seeing her.
It was Bree.
The same thoughts were going through each others heads as they stared at each other. ‘What was she/he doing here?’
But in seconds neither of them cared. They were glad to see each other. He smiled at her and surprisingly, she returned it.
"Hey"he managed to get out, barely above a whisper but she still heard it
"Hey"she said back
