Bree walked back into the mansion and saw that everything was quiet. It was still early. It was a little after 7am. Her cook was busy getting breakfast prepared but no one else was around. She sighed with relief and tried to head upstairs and make her escape to bed. She didnt get much sleep.

"There you are!"Lee said as she walked down the steps. She had on her yoga gear and had her mat in hand. Like clockwork, she always woke up at 6:45 to do her yoga. Bree admired that…but not now. "Are you just getting back?"
"Yeah…."
"How many songs did you record?"Lee said with a laugh. "Well you’re just in time-"
"Lee, not today. Im tired. I just wanna go to bed before I go back into the studio-"
"Girl, its been a whole week since we have done our workout. You need to be strong and stress free when this album comes out-"
"I also need my rest too"Bree said. She also needed to take a shower. She smelled like him. Like Aubrey. She could still smell his manly scent and it was making her dizzy. She couldnt believe that they did what they did.
Then the front door opened and Jas walked in with Starbucks which surprised them all. “I didnt even know you were up?”Lee said to her

"Oh yeah…I couldnt sleep so…I went to get Starbucks"Jas said as she set the carbon cup holder on the counter in the kitchen as Bree and Lee followed her.
"Yeah cuz caffeine will help you sleep"Lee said as she looked her up and down. She was still wearing the clothes she had on last night…
"I had a craving for a chocolate frapp"Jasmeen said with a shrug

"I also got you your favorite tea"Jasmeen said as she slid the plastic cup towards her. Lee smiled and accepted that and took a sip. "And here’s your favorite, extra cream"she said to Bree and she smiled and thanked her. "I also got the blueberry muffins and croissants"she said as she held up a bag
"Well damn, Lenny over here doesnt need to cook"Bree said
"Oh yes he does. Ima need my special omelet"Lee said to him
"Right away LeAndra"Lenny said
"Are you ok?"Bree asked Jasmeen
"What do you mean? Why do you ask? Like….why? Why wouldnt I be?"Jasmeen asked her. Did she know? Both of them? She didnt mean to fall asleep at Mijo’s hotel room but she was exhausted. She woke up when she realized Trey was finally calling her back. She left in a hurry and on the way to Starbucks, she called Trey back as she got the girls breakfast in case they were awake. Which they were. She was happy that she planned this out. But if they all suspected something than this ship will crash, burn and sink.
It was gonna be the last time anyway. Mijo will understand. She was engaged for God’s sake. She couldnt keep doing this.
"Well you said you couldnt sleep. You sleep through anything"Bree said
"I slept…I just woke up earlier than usual and couldnt go back to sleep. You know how your body just wakes you up and is like, you’ve had enough sleep for the day? Get up. Thats what happened"Jasmeen rambled and then cleared her throat,"You’re just getting back from the studio? I figured you would have been home hours ago"
"It went longer than expected but its done. Its gonna be great"
"Its gonna be a single?"Lee asked
"Probably. Its really good. I can hear it on the radio now"Bree said
"Are you still single?"Lee asked her and Bree almost spit out her coffee

"You were in the studio all night with an ex recording love songs. You behaved yourself?"Lee asked her
"Yes Lee….of course. I….I dunno if I should go down that road again"Bree stammered
Lee was going to ask her something else when Genn and Blake walked in, giggling like two high schoolers and they were both soaking wet. “Morning swim?”Bree asked them. Mentally thanking them for saving her from Lee’s inquisition.

"Yeah"Genn said with a laugh.
"Ima take a shower"Blake said and winked at Genn and went upstairs. Genn smiled as she walked over to them.
"If you guys fucked in that pool again, Im gonna vomit"Lee said
"We just swam"Genn said with a blush. "Oooh is that my favorite?"she asked
"Yep"Jasmeen said as she handed it to her
"Thanks"
"Dont change the subject. Did you fuck in that pool?"Lee asked her
"Gonna take a shower"Genn said with a laugh as she walked out and went upstairs.
"Girl….if you dirtied up that pool, I swear to God"Lee shouted after her but Genn didnt answer. Lee just rolled her eyes.
"Well Im gonna take a shower and go to sleep"Bree said

"Tomorrow Lee, ok? Im tired"Bree said as she walked out and Lee just flicked her off. "Love you too"
"Whatever. And dont complain tomorrow if you’re sore, thats what you get from taking a week off"she said after her. She finished her tea and threw the cup away. "Well she aint gonna ruin my routine. You coming?"Lee asked Jasmeen
"I’ll sit this one out"Jasmeen said. She was a treadmill kind of girl. She only did yoga every now and then.
"Ugh all of you are a bunch of lazy cunts"Lee said as she walked out the kitchen
"Bitch"Jasmeen called after her playfully
"Slut!"Lee said and walked outside. Though Jasmeen knew she was playing, the comment hit her right in her core. Lee was right. She was a slut. She was a lazy cunty slut. She sighed as she took her frapp and her muffin and went upstairs, promising herself that she wouldnt do what she did again. For real this time…
A few hours later, Leroy Fitzgerald sighed as he walked into his lawyer’s office downtown. Why they were calling him now was a mystery to him. They lost the case. Fine. Whatever. As long as that WWE looking motherfucker stayed away from him, he was fine. He walked in the conference room after checking in with the receptionist and was surprised to see his mother there. “Oh hey Ma”he said to her as he walked up to her and kissed her cheek. “If I knew you were gonna be here I would have picked you up”
"Im ok son"she said to him with a small smile. He shook his lawyer’s hand hello and he sat down next to her
"Ok….so what was so important that you needed me to wake up early on my day off and come here?"Leroy asked them. "Is it about the case? Whats up? Any new developments? I hope its important because you could have told me whatever on the phone-"
"Its important Leroy"his lawyer said to him,"Look I brought you here-"
"We brought you in because we….I…..need you to turn yourself in"Leroy’s mother spoke up
"Turn myself in? For what?"Leroy asked her with a horrified look on his face
"You raped that girl Leroy. She almost killed herself"
"That wasnt my fault"he said and she shook her head,"What? It wasnt"
"But you put her in the hospital-"

His lawyer sighed,”Leroy-“

"Her rape kit matches Naureen Fenty’s, your DNA was all over it"
They all sat there in silence. “Ok….so I’ll go away. I wont turn myself in. I’ll go away. Like to a rehab or something. Ok? Yeah I have a problem. When I drink…I dont remember what happens. "Good. That takes care of the problem then. Im sorry Mom. Im just….it wont happen again. I’ll come back a new man"he said with a shrug as he leaned back in his seat. His mother stared at him. When did this happen? When did he turn into such a monster? Where did she go wrong with him?
"I took care of it Leroy"she said as she reached over and hugged him
"Thank you Ma"he said to her and she looked at their lawyer and he nodded at her. She got up and wiped her tears. She couldnt stay for this. She walked out quickly as two cops walked in after her. "Whoa! Wait! You cant do this! Ma! MA! MA!!!"Leroy shouted for her but she ran out of the building and into the parking garage and sped away as fast as she could.

Jake smiled as he got himself ready for the day. He texted Naureen as he walked down the stairs and saw a few girls cooking breakfast….or more like burning it. He wrinkled his nose as he walked into the living room and saw Hood and a few other guys on the couch, watching an old Jerry Springer episode. Where was Maurice? He was about to ask them when a breaking news headline interrupted the program and the guys groaned.

"I am Diane Carlin with Breaking News in downtown LA. Leroy Fitzgerald, the young man who was put into a coma a few months ago, seems to be in trouble again. He recently lost his case against his attacker but it seems as if this young man hasnt been innocent in all of this. Just an hour ago, we have gotten an exclusive tip that his own mother turned himself in for raping two young women, one of them as young as 15"

Jake stared at the television screen and he took his phone out of his pocket and called Naureen.

"You miss me?"she asked him playfully
"Can I ask you a question?"he asked her

She watched as Leroy, with a jacket over his head, was escorted out of a building and into a cop car as a reporter explained how his mother turned him in that morning. She turned the tv off. Not wanting to hear anymore. "Wow. Its…its truly over"she said to him
"They said he could get up to 8 years for each crime"Jake said as he continued to watch. "Are you ok?"
"Im….I dunno. Im happy but Im in shock because….someone else is going through what I went through"she said sadly
"Hes getting put away. He has almost 20 years to get the help he needs and to pay for what he’s done. Lets hope he rots there"
"What are you doing right now?"she asked him
"Um….trying to find Maurice…and some breakfast that I can actually eat. Why?"
"You wanna get breakfast?"she asked him. She could feel her anxiety rising and wanted to get out of this mansion immediately

"Lemme call you back ok?"she asked him and he was fine with that and then they hung up. She finished combing through her hair and got dressed and then got her purse and things together and went downstairs. Lee was eating her usual breakfast omelet. "Hey, wheres a nice casual place to get breakfast?"she asked her
"Here in this kitchen. Lenny can make you anything you want"Lee said and he nodded
"No Lenny, you need a break. I meant away from here"Naureen said
"Um…theres Galileo Cafe? You ok?"Lee asked her
"Turn on the news. Channel 12. I just need a minute"Naureen said as Lee turned on the tv in the kitchen. She looked up the cafe on her Google Maps app in her phone
"Holy shit. His mom turned him in!? Serves him right selfish son of a….well not a bitch. Shit she saved our lives"Lee said
"Gotta go"
"Lemme come with you"Lee said
"I got it Lee"Naureen said as she threw open the door but she was met with a surprise when she opened it.
There standing on the porch, ready to knock was J Cole, with a small bouquet of purple flowers in his hand. She stared at him in shock.

"Surprise"he said to her with a smile
"What….what are you doing here?"Naureen said as she gave him a hug as she shoved her phone back in her pocket
"I got a show tonight at Los Globos. I had time so I figured I would surprise you. Take you away for a few hours to celebrate, you know with everything going on"J said to her,"These are for you"he said to her as he handed her the bouquet
"Thats so sweet!"Lee said before Naureen could open her mouth
"Lee, can you please.."Naureen said to her
"Ugh fine. Have a great day with your boo"Lee said. "Bye J!"
"Bye Lee"he said to her as Naureen let him in and put the flowers in a vase. "So are you surprised?"
"Very"she said to him as she let out a sigh
"You’re one of those girls who dont like surprises huh?"
"No I do…thank you J this was very sweet but….I just…I just got another surprise and its fucking with me"she said to him. "Im sorry I dont want it to ruin this"
"Whats wrong now?"J asked her as he frowned.
"Nothing-"
"Does it have to do with that sick fuck?"
"Yeah but its good news…well sorta"she said,"I need to get out of this house"she said with a sigh
J saw her getting anxious and took her hand,”Ok where do you wanna go? I’ll take you anywhere”he said as he led her out to his Ferrari. She sighed again and got in the car with him
"Anywhere. I dont care"she said to him and he held her little hand in his and kissed it and they sped off the property and away from the mansion
However, at that very moment, Jake was getting himself ready. Naureen just sent him a text to meet him at a certain address. Galileo Cafe.
Too bad she didnt know she sent it…
He smiled as he tried to pick which one of his flannel shirts would be best. He had a lot of flannel in his closet. Nothing flashy like Maurice or Mijo had. Fuck. He gave up and grabbed the first one and got his bag and left the house, telling everyone that he was getting his own breakfast and he would be back later. He got to the Cafe and sat down and ordered a coffee and waited for Naureen. He couldnt wait to see her…
…but it seemed like he would be waiting for a long time…
He waited for an hour and wondered what was taking her so long. Did she get lost? Held up? Car trouble? He tried to call her but it went straight to voicemail for some reason. He finally gave up and left a small tip and went back to Maurice’s place. The house was as he left it. Filled with random guys and bitches but he didnt say a word to them as he went to his room and closed the door.
Hes never been stood up before. And it felt like shit. He was worried about Naureen but he was also mad at her. Why did she ask him out if she wasnt going to show up? Was this some kind of joke? Was Maurice right? Was she going to drive him crazy just like Pisces did to him? Was he right about him staying away from her?
Because he was surely thinking about it.
