I love knitting for Maddy and, since she is constantly growing,  I always have an excuse to find new and even more adorable projects to start. One of my favorite collections right now combines patterns from some of my favorite designers specifically for the littlest of models.  From Mama, With Love is a collaboration of some seriously talented designers (and friends), including Kate Gagnon Osborne, Melissa LaBarre, Margaux Hufnagel, Connie Chang Chinchio, and our very own Tanis Gray.  These ladies have put together patterns inspired by their own favorite little people.  I’ve already knit three of these adorable patterns!

This is the Bluebell Pullover that I knit in The Fibre Company Terra.

Tanis’s Ronan Pullover is adorable!  The fair isle pattern is a great chance to play with color and would be fantastic in The Fiberists Sport or maybe in Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Sport. I am still plotting…this one is on my list to do.

Melissa LaBarre’s Lulu Vest was a great knit and turned out perfectly in Sweet Fiber Merino Twist DK.  I can’t wait until Maddy is big enough to wear it! Thinking a cute shirt and some skinny jeans

Nothing is more perfect for fall than a cute little hoodie, and this one comes complete with a ruffle along the bottom.  Designed in Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Sport, we have plenty of amazing color options for a Velvet Hoodie!

A Viviane Cardigan would be adorable in Hedgehog Fibres Blue Faced DK or Sweet Fiber Merino Twist DK!

If cables are more your thing, I’m loving the easy-to-wear Kyle Vest.  Maddy just had to have one and Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Chunky worked perfectly!

If your little one is more in need of hats, this collection offers lots of cute options.  Pick up a skein of worsted like Sweet Georgia Superwash Worsted to make an adorable little Debonair Hat!

For something a little lighter weight, try a Kearney Hat.  This fingering weight design is perfect for hand dyes like Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply, Dragonfly Fibers Dragon Sock, or Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Sock.

With a full range of patterns for garments and accessories, this collection wouldn’t be complete without some fantastic blanket options, such as Tanis Gray’s Antonia Blanket.  Make it with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted for a soft and oh-so-snuggly blanket for your favorite tiny human.
