A lot of Japanese teenage girls badassery, bat swinging in mid air, wicked eyebrows, and Kenzo clothes.Kenzo’s film has always left us mind-blown and it’s no longer a surprise that Kenzo did the same on their Pre-Fall 2016 short film. Written and directed by Kenzo’s art director, Partel Oliva, the short film involves an a badass all-girl biker gang, Japanese mythology and some demon slaying.
Titled ‘Sun To Sun’, the short film is an adaptation of a famous Japanese folklore, ‘Momotarō’. In the original story, the story revolves around a boy who befriends with animals and fights demons.
Meanwhile in Kenzo’s version, a girl named Momoko leads a gang of fierce biker girls with the codenames of The Monkey, The Pheasant, and The Dog. The film starts off in a live action then it transitions into a sick animation that follows Momoko and the girls roaming through the neon lights of Tokyo.
