Radiant Orchid - Pantone's Color of the Year 2014
Pantone is the world authority in colour and what it says often goes. In 2013, the Color of the Year was Emerald, a beautiful deep green that quickly caught on. That’s why we think Radiant Orchid will soon be a favourite for brides all over the world!
Lee Eiseman, the Pantone Colour Institute’s executive director, describes Radiant Orchid as folows: “The radiance is obvious, because it has a beautiful sheen to it. Orchid makes it rather exotic. And the really special thing about the colour is that it’s a colour that encourages us to innovate…and it’s complex, which intrigues people even more”.

Radiant Orchid is perfect for bridesmaids, the groom’s accessories, your bouquet and even your dessert table! Combining beautifully with lilacs, pinks and creams gives a very elegant look.
Or what about mixing with an olive green or pale yellow – perfect for natural rustic-style weddings.

This colour, while having a strong influence from pink, is not too soft and is perfect for a strong colour scheme. We love the quick glimpse of purple nail varnish on the bride pictured below.
