On Friday, December 2, 2016, The Fray will be performing live at a “Rock the Red Kettle” event in the Kansas City Power & Light District at KC Live! American Idol winner and Blue Springs, Mo. native David Cook will open the concert. Admission is free.

Here is some information about the Rock the Red Kettle initiative from the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association’s website:

“Rock the Red Kettle is part of The Salvation Army’s continued efforts to connect with young and aspiring philanthropists. Attendees are invited to arrive as early as 3 p.m. to learn more about volunteer opportunities such as bell ringing, setting up a personal virtual red kettle fundraiser and other ways to provide direct volunteer support for Salvation Army programs all year long.” Donations will be accepted at the concert, or you can donate online.

The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. You must be 21+ to stay after 9:00 p.m.

The Power & Light District is located across from the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
