As a long-time collector of Buff® Headwear products from events and countries (I got my first one in early 2000), I was totally charmed to add something new to my collection a few weeks ago. Sean Verret, director of FEAT Canada, sent me a Headband Buff®, which he had for speakers and volunteers this year. Headbands are a new product from Buff. Totally revolutionary!
While I love my Original Buffs around my neck, wrist and sometimes in a ‘beanie style’, I’ve never quite been able to get them to work folded into a headband shape. Too thick, too warm, slides off my head and doesn’t fit too well under a cap or biking helmet.
The day the package arrived from Sean I got home late, ripped open the package and immediately donned the two FEAT Canada Buffs – Headband and Original, which Sean had sent. And I headed out into the cold wintery night for a run. The next morning I sent a note with a photo to my local Buff agents saying, “Gotta have!”.
They’ll be here in time for FEAT on Thurs, 2 October. Yay!
